[When the feed clicked on, Fitz was still in the midst of a panic attack, the young scientist barely able to focus on the device as he fiddled with the settings some, hands trembling.]

Director Coulson? Agent May? Anyone? Please tell me I'm not the only one here.

[Because that's the last thing he needed right now. He didn't want to believe his was happening right now. It just wasn't plausible.

Trying to pull himself together, Fitz set the device down for a moment, scrubbing at his face and letting out a breath. It took a moment for him to get himself together, his hands still trembling but it wasn't near as bad.

Breath in. Breath out.

He could do this.

A little more composed, he picked his device up once more, trying to put on a neutral expression.]

This is Agent Leo Fitz of SHIELD. Can anyone hear me? I'm not sure where I am but if someone...if someone could please contact me....please?

SHIELD? Um, hi? I'm Dr. Jane Foster and welcome to Wonderland. Coulson's here somewhere, he'll pop up at some point. Are you okay?

[a mutter to herself:]

Someone got a promotion? When did that happen?

[onthefitz]

[If this were any other time and place, Fitz might have been having a fan boy moment but as it is? He's too shaken up to really put two and two together right now.]

He's here? He's here. That's good, yeah. That's good.

[He clears his throat, managing a weak smile.]

I'm a wee bit confused as to where I am, to be quite honest.

[anomaliiiiies]

[Wait till the other Avengers chime in]

Well, it's Wonderland, like in the books, but not quite the same.

Oh hey! I've met Agent Coulson. I mean, assuming it's the same guy. But I mean, you're not really alone here. And it's called Wonderland.

Wonderland?

[That...that was a children's story. Not a real place.]

( her expression and voice are both schooled into calm gentleness. )

My name is Elizabeth. I shall speak to you as long as you need to calm yourself, in the very least.

Right. Right sorry I just..I'm just not sure how I got here.

[He's doing better, thanks to Sam and Jane both. But the nervous twitches are still very much a thing for him right now as he tries to keep his hands still.]

[ An unfamiliar voice, but Natasha is quick to respond to the call, opening a feed in return. ]

Agent Fitz? This is Natasha Romanoff. You're not the only one here. Far from it, actually. Where are you? I can come find you, if that's easier?

Agent Romanoff!

[Even if she doesn't know him, Fitz has heard all about her and knowing she's around? That's a huge relief.]

I'm--the music room. I'm in the music room from what Sam told me.

[ Her reaction is mixed. She's overjoyed to see him, but Fitz doesn't really handle change all that well, and this place is quite the change from anything they've known, even in SHIELD. Poor thing, he already seems like he's cracking up. How long has he been here? It can't have been long.

She opens her mouth to talk again, when everything else he said filters in -- he didn't ask for her, and he instead asked for Director Coulson. Director? ]

Fitz, where are you? Are you alright? Let me find you, and we'll talk.

[For a moment, Fitz was caught in a moment where he wasn't sure if he was imagining things or if this was real. He was well aware of his tendency to hallucinate Simmons being around but given that she was on the comm and not standing right beside him like she had been a moment ago...she had to be real right?

Licking his lips as his mouth suddenly goes dry, Fitz starts to say something then pauses before he looks almost meek as he responds.]

The music room. Jemma, I--

[He stops himself, shaking his head as he crosses his arms to hide his hand shake.]

I'm in the music room.

I don't know that I'm going to be any help, but you're not alone.

( it's one of the only things she's certain of in this place. when the video feed clicks on, it's close on the face of a girl, young, with tired blue eyes and only the faintest hint of a smile.

not much of a welcoming committee, considering she's new here herself, but then this isn't the place most people want to end up in anyway, so it's strangely fitting.)

I'm guessing that somebody else has already given you the rundown, but you're in Wonderland. ( a faint, rueful laugh. ) And unfortunately, it's exactly the one you're thinking of.

I'm starting to feel a touch less crazy the more people tell me where I am.

[It's one part sarcastic and one part truthful, Fitz really not sure how to take this whole Wonderland business.]

[You may not have heard of him, Clint, but he's heard of you and the relief is clear in his voice just as it had been with Natasha.]

Yes, sir. A few individuals are meeting up with me actually.

I think it is safe to assume that people have informed you about where you are?

[Scottish accent, hm? One Bela hasn't heard for a while. Despite living in America for a while, she has still kept her own accent. English, a little refined but for the most part Bela speaks casually.]

If they have already, I can tell you that it is true what they are saying.

Yes, they have. I'm still not sure what to make of it.

[Because Wonderland is just..it's a lot to take in.]

I've seen a lot of strange things but this just...this is one of the weirdest.

[ It's been a while since this went up, but Agent Fitz looks pretty shaken up, so he hopes he's been able to find Coulson and company by now. He has an arm over the back of the couch, and he leans up a little to call someone behind him. ]

Steve, you know an Agent Fitz?

[ He turns back to the camera. ]

Hey. You okay, buddy? You get the rundown on this place yet?

[onthefitz]

[While he's a lot calmer than he had been, seeing this particular individual come over the feed, someone that he had only really seen pictures and a few short videos of from the Captain America exhibit?

It's a bit mind blowing.]

I...y-yes. Yes I have. Several times, actually.

[He's trying to keep himself together but it's hard when he's just not..in general.]

You...You're Bucky Barnes.

There sure are a lot of you guys coming out of the woodwork lately.

[And given how all these S.H.I.E.L.D agents seem to know each other, she's almost willing to bet that he's not from her neck of the woods.]

Have you found Agent Coulson yet?

[onthefitz]

There are?

[He's only spoken to Jemma as of yet, as far as his team goes. Natasha and Clint were both SHIELD but well, they were Avengers first and foremost these days it seemed.]

I haven't. He..is here though...right? Everyone was serious when they told me that?

Fitz, I'm here. Where are you? I'll come to you.

[ He's already pulling his jacket on and walking out of his door, one of the pamphlets in his hand just in case Fitz hasn't seen them already or talked to anyone who could have shared the information in it. ]

[Can you see his relief Coulson? Can you? Because it's extremely obvious and he kind of feels like sinking down to the floor right now because it's damn good to see you.]

You aren't the only one here, Agent Fitz.

[Although Pepper's certain that by the time of her reply, others have told Fitz the same, she still feels a need to chime in herself. There's just something about the way he asks mixed with how young he looks; she can't help herself, and the smile she offers is sympathetic, her voice gentle.]

I'm glad for that, ma'am.

[Because he's not sure he would have been able to handle being alone. Her smile and gentle voice make him relax just a bit and he manages a faint smile in return.]
