[ She'd kept to herself throughout most of the event, keeping her head down for the most part. But it was becoming increasingly more difficult as the days passed to stay quiet and keep her nose buried in a book. Besides, wouldn't her classmates be trying to do something?

So after a bit of going back and forth in her head, she starts typing.
]

Is everyone managing to hold up okay throughout this event? It seems like it's been rough, but I think we can get through it if we all work together. I'm only familiar with some basic first aid that I picked up from a friend of mine but if anyone needs help, I can try.

Or if anyone needs to talk to someone, I can try that, too.

And hey, if you're from Hope's Peak Academy — would you mind checking in with me? Thanks.

Hello, everyone. I'm sorry to be bothering you, you don't have to listen if you don't want to, it's not really important.

For any newcomers, my name is Mikan Tsumiki, and welcome to Wonderland.

I've been trying to work on a few issues I have, and I think one of the things that might help is the word "normal". I want to become more like a normal teenage girl. Normal teenage girls don't apologize for everything, and they don't cry over everything, and they don't need to be useful all the time.

All worlds are different, though, so one person's normal might be different than another. But that's okay! I want to try all options.

So, if you could please finish this sentence - "A normal teenage girl____"

(A well-dressed, ever-so-slightly scarred English boyEarl is sitting behind a desk, a set of neatly written notes piled neatly at one end. Before him there is a layout of "Wonderland" as best as he can calculate the rooms and proportions - as things seem to like changing. His lips twitch unhappily and he leans back, stubbornly resolved.)

These events...

How can there be absolutely no trace of them? Is the lack of evidence meant to drive us into madness?

(His one visible eye - an almost perfect sapphire blue - narrows in suspicion.)

I am late in introducing myself formerly: I am Earl Ciel Phantomhive. I call England home usually. (As if that isn't painfully apparent with his British accent.) But it seems I have fallen down the Rabbit Hole...

Will I be seeing the Red Queen next? How about the Mad Hatter?

Accidental Video
[ The video opens up to a view of shaking scenery and rushing lights and color, as it the device recording it has just been dropped from a significant height. The movement ceases when the device lands on the floor, still recording with its camera pointed upwards.

The foyer it shows is clearly familiar to everyone in Wonderland as the front of the mansion. What's not quite so familiar is the giant glowing UFO now hovering and weaving up near the ceiling. Green lights shoot out, scanning the surroundings, sweeping over every surface with an eerie glow.

Even the fallen phone gets scanned, although once it is, the UFO goes suspiciously still overhead before swooping down towards it with a startling speed. There's a voice, one that sounds suspiciously like a young girl, that gives a quiet exclamation. ]

Oops! Almost lost you. Hello there, my precious.

[ ...And then a metallic-looking tentacle snakes out from the bottom of the UFO to press the button that cuts the feed off entirely.

Just another day in Wonderland, right? There's totally nothing to see here, and certainly not a floating spaceship hovering in your entranceway. Carry on. ]

Audio
[ Although a short while later, a number of phones across the mansion might receive an audio transmission as someone tries to figure out and manipulate the strange network in this place and how to filter it to where she needs it to go. Hopefully she finds the targets she's looking for, but other inhabitants might pick it up accidentally as well. ]

Joker, Queen? Can you hear me? Mona, Panther, anyone, come in??

[ It's late and, rather than lay awake in bed, Caitlin's curled up in a tearoom and messing with her device. The questions she pose aren't pressing, not really, just idle curiosity finally given words. ]

I think it's amazing how someone can develop feelings for someone else here, especially if you both come from different worlds. Wouldn't you be worried that Wonderland would suddenly decide to send you home the moment you found actually happiness? Or plagued by the fear that the person you've fallen for isn't who they actually are? Just who they present themselves to be here.

[ She knows something of that, herself. The danger of falling in love with the idea instead of the actual person. ]

If you found yourself in that situation, would you hold back, keep your feelings to yourself? Or would you jump without thinking twice?

[ Well, that was some event, huh? Here's a nice distraction after the fact — a young girl who clearly looks like she has something on her mind as the feed fires up. Chiaki rocks back and forth slowly, briefly, as if she's contemplating exactly what she wants to say before she says it. Finally, she just tilts her head to one side and speaks. ]

Hey, so . . . are there any kind of game nights here?

[ Asking the important questions here. ]

[ When the video starts up, the image is very unfocused at first — mostly because it seems like the person in question is constantly adjusting it as she stares down into it blankly. After a moment or two, she settles, putting it down on a flat surface, and slowly begins to smile just a bit as the image comes into focus. ]

That looks about right . . . I think.

[ She tilts her head to the side, tapping at her cheek briefly with one finger before continuing to speak. ]

Anyway, hi. I'm Chiaki Nanami. Um, but they also call me the Super High School Level Gamer. I thought I was on an island for a school trip, but . . .

[ At that, her voice drifts off as she looks pensive. Idly, she picks up something nearby — the ever-so-familiar pamphlet for newcomers — and flips through it briefly before looking back up at the camera, giving a firm nod. ]

I guess not, huh. [ a beat. ] So, it's Wonderland, right? That's kind of strange, I guess. But . . . mm, maybe not much more strange than an island or any other place.

[ There's another pause as her eyes drift off to the side. She looks like she's maybe just about to fall asleep when she yawns, addressing the feed again. ]

Hey, if this is Wonderland, then maybe it'd be okay for us to go down the rabbit hole a bit, right? So . . . [ a beat, and then she gives the camera an inquisitive look. ] Hmm, what's everyone's favorite type of game genre?
