[Iiiit's Peridot! ...It's a very official looking Peridot, too. Standing straight in front of her communicator with her shared room with Lapis (that looks a little bit like a barn) in the background.

She clears her throat, her expression calm, yet serious.]

I have a very important question for you all. One I hope I can get an adequate answer for.

[She presses her palms together and points her fingers towards the camera. The "booooi" fingers if you will.]

As I understand it, if someone leaves Wonderland for good, their things vanish. So what if their things are also your things?

[She seems to be doing her best to keep her cool. It's kind of working.] Th.. Thank you.

[ People leaving is shitty. But Ange likes to avoid showing any sort of emotions, so instead she just keeps her tone as flat as ever as she replies. ]

How quickly do their things vanish? If you're quick about it, you could claim them as yours before they're gone, I guess.

Weren't you worried about losing your stuff?

[ That's how she understood it! ]

No! I'm worried about losing my friend. You can't tell if someone is gone unless their things are gone! That's how it works here.

In that case.. there should be at least something you guys didn't share, right? [ Look, Ange "what are social contacts with other people" Ushiromiya certainly can't imagine sharing literally everything with another person. ] Just look if there's anything at all gone or not.

[slapfight]

Hrrrrrrrm. Wait here.

[And she leaves the communicator where it is as she begins to figure out how to climb up onto the rafters just in view of the screen. It's like watching slapstick comedy in action as she tries to jump, fly herself using what appears to be a metal discus (that plummets to the ground taking her with it when she loses her concentration), to finally storming away and returning with a trasn can lid that carries her up and out of frame.]

[ Somehow Peridot manages to get into these sort of slapstick situations so much despite her claims about how powerful she is and all, huh. Ange sure is making a mental note of that, and thankfully her pokerface (and general lack of joy) keeps her from laughing at the other. Even outside of earshot once Peridot is gone. Just silence.

Instead she just waits. Patiently. She literally has nothing else to do right now anyway. It's only after a few moments that she speaks up. ]

Found anything yet?

[slapfight]

[She's a hot mess, Ange.

At least she doesn't fall out of the rafters this time. After some general rustling about and making aggrieved noises, she finally begins her descent back into frame.]

There's nothing up there. It's hopeless. [She picks up the communicator gingerly and just flops down on the floor with it. The network is her only friend.]

[entreats]

[ A hot mess indeed. And Ange's own hot mess of a personality leaves her with little idea of what to say or do right now. She's usually the one saying things are hopeless, what does she even say to someone else saying that..?? ]

This is where most people would say "don't give up so easily", you know. [ Probably..??? This is beyond her social capabilities. ]

[slapfight]

Apparently, I have to wait a week to know for sure.

[so for now all hope is lost.]

Guess that means you have to find something to distract yourself with for an entire week. Like a hobby.

Dipper has offered to watch his Annoying Ghosts show with me....

[ Ah yes, the classic Netflix binge route. Even though Ange is from a time too long ago to know of that. ]

There's a whole show just about annoying ghosts?

[slapfight]

Apparently, it's about "harassing them." I'm not sure of the exact reasons aside from ghosts are generally awful, but apparently there's a great deal of subtext and one of the ghosts has a thrilling redemption story where it turns on its kind and fights for the side of the living!

[That's one way to interpret what Dipper told her?]

Why are they harassing the ghosts to begin with? Even if the ghosts are awful, it's probably just because those living humans are harassing them to begin with.

[ Maybe she's thinking a little bit too deeply about some fictional show, but Ange can't help it. She has Opinions and they must be heard!! ]

Have you met a ghost?

[Peridot has not, but she has heard ghost stories and maybe those stories are inaccurate.]

[ .. Okay, so only technically.. If you view things from a certain angle... But how can Ange resist omitting some of the technicalities when the opportunity is this wide open? ]

You seem... Functionally less terrifying than ghosts are normally?

Why are you calling ghosts "terrifying"? Weren't you the strongest being in this place?

[ She sure hasn't forgotten about that!! ]

I didn't think a simple ghost would scare you.

They have no physical forms! How are you supposed to fight that?!

You mean you can't think of a way to do so?

[ At least that ghost show might give Peridot a few ideas then. ]
