[When the video starts up, there's still some purple smoke floating in the air. The camera tilts, and it shows a figure that might be vaguely familiar to some residents, for one reason or another: Lanky, bad posture, wearing an old-fashioned diving suit tailored to fit a young girl. As the camera is apparently put down somewhere, the bed in the room can be seen. On top of it is a small, skinny doll with a bubble-shaped head with little toy arm-spikes. Soon, though, a real helmet and real arm-spike equipped gloves are set down next to it, and a girl of about 16 or 17 hops up onto the bed. When she speaks, it seems like she's addressing the machine, but she isn't quite looking at it, either.]

Well... It certainly looks just the way I left it. I couldn't find any of them, though.

[She gives a quick, short chuckle, which doesn't sound as convincingly lighthearted as she meant it to sound. She then finally looks to the camera, wearing an equally unconvincing smile.]

I... don't suppose there's anyone I know here, is there?

[Minato happened to catch this video feed over the communicating device. He was quiet, watching and listening, before addressing her.]

... It depends on who you're looking for.

[He didn't think he had seen her before either, so there was that to consider. Not that he knew everyone in the Mansion, but she sounded new.]

[Her memory's hazy at best, too. Still, she's sure she's been here before. She pulls her knees up to her chin and studies the video screen for a moment before going back to looking around the room.]

Just... looking for some family, is all. I'm Eleanor. Eleanor... Lamb.

[She hesitates a bit as she speaks, trying to be careful not to say anything that might be more information than necessary.]

Who're you looking for?

I don't know you yet, so let's fix that right away. I'm Pinkie Pie. Yes, I am a talking pony. No, I am not a table or any other kind of furniture. Your turn!

[Minato nodded slightly, thinking that over. It had been a while since he heard a last name like that, but he wasn't exactly up on his Western last names, or so he could assume for now that it was one.]

I'm Minato Arisato. It's nice to meet you.

... Do you know a Sofia Lamb?

...I'm sure if someone you know is here, they'll respond soon.

[There's a visible wince, and Eleanor slowly nods.]

Y... Yes.

She's my mother.

Is... Is she here, then?

[She sounds about as apprehensive as one can get.]

Well, I may as well ask... You haven't seen one or more men in very large, bronze-colored suits, have you? Very distinctive, may or may not have a Delta symbol on them?

Uh..I think so.

He left a while ago.

... I... Y... Yes, right, I...

[She shakes her head. She's a telekinetic pyrokinetic mutant from the bottom of the sea, a talking horse should hardly be so surprising.

... But she's just so... pink. It's a shame they didn't have any copies of The Wizard of Oz in Rapture, or she'd have been very vindicated about horses of a different color being real.]

I'm... Eleanor. Eleanor Lamb.

[She is going to come up with a super-witty line like "Sorry, I'm more used to sea-horses!" later and she is going to be so upset that she missed her chance.]

That's the idea.

[She smiles weakly, then it sort of fades as she wonders if that sounded sarcastic or mean.]

... Sorry.

I'm Eleanor.

Right. I thought as much. What about Mister Sinclair?

I'm Anri. [She bows slightly to the camera.]

Um... [How do you ask "what the heck is that stuff" without being rude?] Were you...underwater?

What's his first name?

You could say that.

[She looks back at the helmet, and picks it up, cradling it in her lap.]

I...

[She pauses, thinking to try and gather the information from the memories in Delta's ADAM if necessary.]

Augustus. Augustus Sinclair.

[Minato hadn't known that she had a daughter and that now said daughter was here. But mentioning her seemed to set Eleanor on edge, and he didn't want her to struggle for too long with that.]

She left a while ago.

Nice to meet you - wait, lamb?

[She peers closely at the communicator. She looks human, but maybe she's fuzzy underneath her clothes.]

Do you turn into a lamb? Or does your family rear sheep?

Um... No. No, I don't. It's just my name. You can call me Eleanor, though. Actually, I'd prefer it.

[She's still staring. God, she's really talking to a horse.]

[She breathes a sigh of relief, relaxing immediately.]

I see.

[She want's to say "that's good", but she refrains.]

Thank you for telling me.

Have you been here before?

[He's...staring at her suit. Sorry about that.]

Yes, I think I have. It's... a little hazy, though.

[... That voice sounds familiar, too. The face, too. The memories aren't her own, though, which is why it doesn't click right away.]

... I'm sorry, but do I know you?

[It seems clear that Eleanor doesn't want to discuss it.]

Um...I can tell you a little about this place if you'd like.

I don't...think so.

[But the suit and her posture and the doll, like the one in the dinghy. It's been almost two years for him now, but it comes back very quickly. He notes it with a kind of quiet exultation--Wonderland hasn't dulled him as badly as he'd thought.]

My name's Mark.

[She tries to smile a bit more genuinely, and nods.]

Thanks. I remember bits and pieces, but for the life of me, most of it involves the fact that there's a pool and a sun.
