2ND TASTE ^2 ♎ VIDEO;
[Redglare is looking a bit more bedraggled today, and oddly dressed. In fact, she looks a little more pirate-y than she used to. Well, a lot more pirate-y. Okay completely pirate-y. BUT SHE IS NOT A PIRATE. She is a woman of the law, even if it is her own law.
There are breeches and a white shirt and a vest and an impressively long coat, though she is missing a hat. In place of her glasses, there is a ragged strip of cloth tied around her eyes, because even like this she is blind. She is up on the highest place she can get to in the Mansion, which is of course the roof, and she shouting enough to bring the sky down. At least, if the sky was brave enough to come down and face her, which is clearly isn't.]
You! All of you! You sit under the thrall of this queen, of this land like dogs! Do you not want to find out why you are here‽ Why are you simply content to simply lay in the lap of luxury? Do you think it is fair to endure hellhounds and worse‽ You claim to want freedom, but you are simply content here doing little and gaining little and doing nothing to take it for yourselves!
[The speech goes on for SOME TIME. It is long, angry and by the end of it her throat is sore and her voice sounds raspy. It's amazing how much confidence someone who is shouting on a roof to the populace can exude, no matter how shabby their clothes.]
The items you have gained and the experiences you have gained... Are they really worth the things you have lost? Your worlds? Your friends? Your memories?

[Audio]
Perma-Video;
Tell me, what have you been doing lately? Find anything out about this place and it's residents, hm? Well, have you?
video;
[He wouldn't have met them at home.
Souji's as quiet as normal, but there's a nervous, ashamed edge to it. Addressing Redglare is especially daunting, because he knows that, of his friends here, she's the most likely to never forgive him for what he's done. It seems a little odd that he hasn't ever told her before, but right now it just feels like he has to give her the opportunity to hear about it and come clean. Even if she might behead him or something.]
Video;
I have as well, but there are matters to attend to in my world. Things to be done! I cannot simply leave Alternia and it's people to deal with pirates and a tyrannical monarch!
Video;
[He knew from her previous stay that she'd died.]
...Can you?
[Perma-Audio]
Guarding against hellhounds, watching for clues as to which Queen is to blame, helping my friends...

Video; I admire your use of interrobangs.
SHOUTING OUT HIS WINDOW;

Video;
Of course I can and I will. I have a duty and I will not shirk it.
[Because she hasn't died, not yet. She's been terrorizing pirates for centuries, worrying The Condesce, who thinks she will go away if slandered and ignored. Not to say she doesn't have the occasional assassin, but she is so very hard to sneak up on.]

Video; they are a very useful punctuation mark
SHOUTING BACK;
The revolution needs people like you! Boisterous and enthusiastic!
Video and Action. Mostly just action.
Anybody who shouted inflammatory things loud enough and long enough was guaranteed to become a Spectacle. (Spectacles, particularly when they were attached to something disagreeable, were bound to find themselves on the wrong end of a fist eventually.)
So, Susan listened to the woman ranting for several minutes. After a while, when she realized just where this Activist was, she decided to get a front row seat and made her way up to the roof. Unfortunately, it seemed like she was the only one who'd arrived in person. To make matters more dull, she'd arrived at the end of the ranting.
Damn.
Well, she was here and there was nothing for it, so Susan walked up to Redglare and cocked a brow.]
Generally, when people shout their objections on rooftops, they have a Plan. So, out with it.
If we're going to oust the monarchy we might as well do it quickly.
Video;
How can you? Weren't you killed?
Video;
Absolutely not! Though not for lack of trying I assure you. I've become quite the thorn in Her Imperial Condescension's side, for that matter. It's rather hard to kill someone when they've got a massive dragon on their side.
Action;
My general plan was to lop the heads off of both queens. If we're being generally honest here, the Queen of Hearts is particularly tyrannical in her goals. She's got both the Vorpal Sword and Shield and honestly she's probably going to invade any day now. The Red Queen seems harmless at best, from what I've seen, but if there would be a vaccuum I have no doubt that she'd fill it, and we cannot have that.
[She clenches and unclenches her grip around her cane and paces back and forth as she speaks.]
Then, afterwards, perhaps we could get started on making a fair and equal sort of governing body where everyone is held accountable for their actions. [And highbloods didn't get away with murdering perfectly innocent bystanders simply because of their blood color. But that isn't something that applies here.]
Video;
If your queen's annoyed, you must be doing something right.
Action forever.
Certainly a doddering Queen is just as harmful as a malicious one, but beheading might be a bit much. I expect a proper scorpion pit would suffice.
LOUD NOISES; 1/2
I've spent several years--
LOUD NOISES;
[ whoops, stumbling off the edge of the roof bye ]
ACTION;
Redglare is over towards him in a flash, cane left unfortunately behind yet standing straight up for some reason. She grabs him by the front of his shirt and hauls him up like a scruffed kitten.]
Well-trained individuals don't stumble off of roofs like novices.
Video;
Unfortunately, I cannot. So I am waiting for the next heir to present herself. Then I will set my sights on teaching her and training her, provided I can get her away from Gl'bgolyb or somehow find a way to breathe underwater.
[She has been spending time around wrigglers for that express purpose, though not overmuchly. She needs to up her tolerance if she is going to instruct a future heir.]

I once knew a troll with a massive scorpion for a lusus. Ridiculously immune to poison, which is probably why assassins stop bothering after the fifteenth attempt and just outright shot him in the head with a crossbow bolt. Shame, that.
[Still, Redglare does consider the idea, twirling her cane idly.]
But where would we even get that many scorpions...
Video;
[He's really never known anyone as driven as Redglare.]
I'm just surprised. I thought Legislacerators worked for the government. [But what does he know about troll bureaucracy.]
Video;
[She will see Alternia free or die trying, and she knows how likely the latter is, but the Empire would not take her back now and she will not go groveling at the feat of the Grand Highblood. Never.]
I gave up on the prospect of being an official Legislacerator when I was just into adulthood. I am a better help to the cause as I am.

[If there were really a way out, that is to say.]
Video;
[He usually has a good memory for this stuff.]
It seems like I'm remembering things differently about everyone. Even people from my own world.
Video;
[Redglare chews on her lower lip.]
You are Souji Seta still, correct? You apprehended a criminal, once. One who was murdering people in your town.

Video; Indeed they are
And, uh. How might we be revolting?
Video;
I um...
No. He wasn't apprehended.
no subject
Yes, that's always the trouble isn't it?
[Susan had no answer for that question, unfortunately. The closets could provide quite a lot of something, but she couldn't hold with magical scorpions. Something about that just violated the spirit of the thing.]
A crossbow would be effective and efficient, but not very Theatrical. [She frowned slightly.] Definitely less messy than beheading, at any rate.

[However, Redglare waves off the idea of an execution that is too messy. While she is mostly used to burning her enemies to a crisp, being covered in the blood of her enemies is something she adores.]
A mess is hardly an issue. There is glory in beheading an adversary, worthy or not.
Video;
[There's a long, long pause, before he adds:] I let him go.
Video;
What?
Why would you let him go after everything he had done? I thought so much better of you!
Video;
[He's aware that this pretty much ends him with her and the thought scares him.]
I thought he was a friend and...I made the wrong decision.
Video;
Seems like you got it all figured out, luv.

Video;
Souji, criminals are Not Your Friends! They are the enemy and they must be punished and you let. One. Go.
Video; Redglare, after school special version
[He stops. Wow, this next part is just going to make it worse, but he's already started to say it, so he goes on.]
...I destroyed the only evidence. There's no way to prove what he did and if I try...
[He's as guilty as Adachi.]
