[How are you doing, Wonderland? Good? Okay-ish? Wonderful! The would-be duplicate Alice is currently pacing about her room which is a nervous tick she developed long, long ago. She likes a confide space, ironically, so a room of her own is fantastic. And spacious compared to her last. That is, if anyone can ignore the fact that she's actually not the most tidy person around.

Alice has done away with her previous blood-stained (or soaked, rather) blue pinafore dress, her trademark appearance. All that's left for her is a very Victorian nightgown, that seems almost scandalous to be in without any sort of robe, but Alice can only do with what she's has for now. Sadly, it's been something more than she's had in years, too.

She tends to be very restless when worked up and stressed. It's not even the walkers from beforehand, it's much more simpler than that.]

I very much would like if I had something other than what I have to barter with those vendors outside of the mansion. I was considerably lucky to convince at least one woman to give me what I have now.

Why would they require a currency- no, this is the land of nonsense and the inconsistent. I shouldn't ask such things. Perhaps if it's not too bold to ask... may I have assistance finding better garments?

[Alice pretty much plops her dress out of her hands, grateful that the blood is dried.]

After that I am not sure what else to do.

Someone's not doing their job if they haven't told you about the magic closets. You should be able to get clothes from there just by wanting 'em, don't go to the vendors.

[Greed has never really interacted with the vendors at all, but he's heard they ask for memories, and that's all he really needs to know. His distaste for the very thought of them is transparently obvious.]

You could try your closet?

[This is about the only advice he has to offer in terms of clothes, though he sounds uncertain in suggesting it. Maybe she already tried and it didn't work? Or maybe she just doesn't know about them yet...]

They're kind of magic, I guess. As in, they give you whatever you're thinking of if you step in.

[She looks surprised at first, but really, Alice of all people. Should she be surprised anymore?]

The closets? Then if the closets work, why is there no "drink me" and "eat me" trinkets lying about?

[...yeah, Greed has no idea what you're talking about, but...] If you want there to be, then get them from the closet.

Why if anything can appear in these closets then certainly cakes and drinks that change your size as well! You could shrink small enough to walk through a key hole.

What, were the closets not good enough? [He understands. Every bottle of wine he's gotten from the closets has been a grossly inferior vintage.]

[Even if it was more to himself, he can't help but agree, though when she seems startled by his appearance, he cuts himself off and just. Sort of stares for a second. A turtle? He's not sure if he should be insulted or not.]

[Alice can't help it, curiosity is killing her and all sorts of thoughts are circulating through her head. So many questions!]

No, of course I don't. That would be really uncomfortable.

[Actuallyyyy... He has eaten in it. Once. But he doesn't feel like he needs to mention that. And he's only slept in the armor on long missions, but. That doesn't seem important, either.

The questioning is fairly standard though, since he gets it from just about everyone. It's something he's working on getting used to, but not something he holds against her, or anything.]

I'm not really a knight, but I guess the job is kind of similar? I'm a soldier.

I guess--I just thought you were this Wonderland's Alice...

[She's possibly getting too excited that he's answering her questions so casually. Alice immediately lights up, looking at him intently.]

Then that must mean you have a face, yes?

Whoever she is, she could very well be an imposter.

Or...hm. I suppose this whole alternate universes business extends to Wonderland itself.

Yeah, of course. I said I'm human, and that usually implies that I've got a face. It's just covered by my helmet.

[He taps the side of said helmet with his finger, finding that this is probably the strangest question he's gotten about his armour so far. Even weirder than being asked if he was a robot. But how excited she's getting is pretty flattering, in a way.]

Apparently. But I am quite me regardless. I don't know who she is and I do not like it.

[The strange has always caught Alice's attention. Matter of fact, it's a good thing he's not in person, Alice would be following him around much like the white rabbit.]
