[ He's unsure of the network, but in the end, it seems like the smartest way to get what he wants. It's not the most subtle way to communicate, but he doesn't think this situation calls for subtlety and if he's been pulled into this place, there's no telling who else might be here. ]

This is Agent Phil Coulson.

[ Still an agent, even without SHIELD, he can't quite drop that part of himself. If SHIELD is just his team, then so be it. They're still SHIELD. ]

I'm looking for whoever's in charge here or any information anyone can give me that isn't in this handy pamphlet.

[ He pauses, looking around. ]

Or my team. I'm looking for my team.

[She smiles faintly as she leans against his door and watches him take in the room, relaxing a bit when he laughs. It's not fully genuine, she knows that, but it's better than nothing. And its certainly better than the expression that had been on his face when he'd caught sight of the first room.]

Good. If we're lucky, maybe the closets can clone that terrible bottle of tequila and we can try that game of poker again at some point. I know this isn't exactly a vacation, but there's still a lot of downtime, it seems.

[ With a chuckle, he sits on the bed and pats the space next to him. ]

I can't tell you the last time I had a night like that. Maybe we can go for something less awful than that tequila, though. Like a... slightly nicer shitty tequila.

[ It's not a bad idea, though. He's hardly a teetotaler, but he doesn't usually drink to get quite that drunk. Maybe they can invite some of the others and see exactly what super soldier serum does for alcohol tolerance. ]

[She smiles and pushes away from the door, crosses the room to come and sit beside him, just close enough that their shoulders brush.]

My first day here, there was a woman who was showing me how the closets worked. She pulled out a bottle of vodka that was more expensive than several months rent for my apartment. I'm pretty sure we can go for just about any quality you like.

Oh, now that sounds nice. It's no reason to want to stay, but we may as well at least enjoy it, right?

[ He takes joys in the little things and drinking with friends is about as perfect as it gets, especially friends he's missed so terribly. ]

You know me, Coulson. I always prefer to enjoy myself.

[It's an easy quip, but that doesn't make it less true. Despite the fact that she's often the one called in on ops that are most likely to go pear-shaped with little to no notice, she does still enjoy what she does.

This is a little more pear-shaped than normal, but until they have a plan of action, she sees nothing wrong with learning and experiencing everything she can about this place. As much as she dislikes being trapped anywhere, especially with no say in it, she can also distance herself from that enough to enjoy some of the benefits.]
