first dream | video/action.
[ bran stark has been told through all of his life that his family's curse is just that--a curse. growing up with the lidells had not been a bad life, save for a terrible fall that left him crippled from the waist down, but it was often a lonely one. while the family was big, they only had each other, and they lived that way because their curse wouldn't allow them to touch anyone who was their opposite gender, or a terrible thing would happen.
but here was the thing: for bran, it wasn't that terrible.
when he bumped into a girl in the middle of the hallway, it had only somewhat been an accident. he didn't quite recognize her, but bran was thrilled with the puff of smoke that followed, because he left his wheelchair (and his clothes) far behind. for as a raven his legs were still useless, but his wings?
his wings stretched on, catching the wind above the great house they've been spending their time in and sailing out through the windows. whoever he ran into would simply have to wonder where he'd gone, as when he was stuck as a raven? well, he could fly.
so, he does, out of the window and through the skies towards the tallest part of the mansion. he used to love to climb as a kid, and this is that but a thousand times better, and he soars through the mansion, ducking down to tug on the occasional dog's tail, feeling light and, well, free as free could be.
all that comes to an end though, and when bran feels the pull of being human again, he alights down on top of the roof. there's a poof and he's back to normal--and very stuck. he sends out a video message that shows just his face, showing a skill with the device that definitely wasn't there before today. there are six or seven ravens around him, just visible in the video feed, cawing and occasionally picking at his hair. bran seems completely unbothered by them as he speaks.]
Hullo. [ how to start this. ] I'm, um. Stuck on the roof. Would someone be able to help me?
[ how embarrassing. ]
{ this will serve as a catchall for the event! if you don't want to reply to the video post that's more than fine--just lemme know you want something different! feel free to run into him as either a raven or a person, although there isn't much "running into" to be done to a kid in a new wheelchairthat i can assume he got since this is an AU event ♥. }

He makes it to the ledge beneath the roof where Bran lays and looks up. It would just figure that the kid would land himself in such a difficult position. The flock of ravens make it even more difficult. ]
Hey! [The sound comes out something akin to a bark. The birds lift off in flight, revealing the small figure on the roof.]
You didn't think to fly a little bit lower? You know I don't like to climb onto the roof. Are you alright?

And, well, when Bran fell he became that much more interesting. He's had a soft spot for broken things even before Mischa died.
Hannibal sighs with all the familial, mildly condescending affection that he had always put on --as far as he remembers. ]
Looking for ways to fly again, are we?

She always made all kinds of exceptions for Bran.]
I can come give you a lift, if you like.
[She smiles, though there's something just a touch bittersweet about it.]
I'd give you your wings back if I could.

Looks like you've had a bit of an adventure! Was it a good flight?
[A thought occurs though, and he knots his fingers in his hair.]
Do you know where you left your clothes and everything? I'll run and grab them for you. [Then, a teasing smile.] Unless of course you want to run around starkers - in which case, by all means!

action; (for something a little different...)
He hasn't always been dutiful, having traveled far away from the mansion on occasion when he was younger. But these days, it feels wrong to remain far away, and he limits his exploration to the grounds immediately surrounding the mansion, finding solace in the forest. Today, he's wandering outside with his bow and arrow in hand, ready to venture out for some much needed fresh air. He pauses just outside, to scan the mansion grounds, just to assure himself all is well on the exterior, that everyone who might be inside is safe.
When he spots Bran, though, he smirks and calls out to him: ]
Are you planning to laze about there all day, lad?
[ ooc: Hope this is alright, for something slightly different? Let me know if not, and I can revise my tag, though! :D ]

That is why Bran should be concerned when a shadow flits over him. Something above circling, then diving, and with absolutely no fucking coordination whatsover. ]
I GOTCHA BROTHER!
[ He screams like Buster Bluth in construction equipment. In fact, he does not have Bran. He has jack shit. He has terrible eyesight and outstretched claws and what did he think he was going to do with them? Carry his paralyzed family member away into the sunset?
Luckily for both of them he smacks into Bran toward the roof and not off it. His talons clip the boy's shoulder as he prepares for yet another terrible landing. Somewhere there are scientists crying over what they'd imagine to be a neurologically damaged bald eagle, but nope. Just an overconfident idiot. ]

Would you like me to bring you a ride?
[ Because the obvious solution to transportation is horses. She might not be cursed with horse powers but somehow, putting a paraplegic boy onto a horse just feels right.
And then he will use the horse to see a Golden Ratio and somehow THAT GIVES YOU BITCHIN' POWERS THAT'S HOW LIFE WORKS RIGHT???That is what Lucy would think if her memories hadn't been altered so severely. And thus the event where she turns into an itty bitty antelope somehow makes her life less confusing and fucked up.Still. Horses. ]

hi boo
The wheelchair is a peculiar thing, even from a distance, but he's at least glad that someone has retrieved his friend from the rooftop, gotten him a proper change of clothes-- odd as they may be, as well-- and gotten him the chair. It's much better than a cart would be, considering it allows Bran to travel through his own power rather than someone else's.
(It also means that Jojen need not worry quite as much about how he'll traverse Wonderland, when his own strength is dwindling every day.)
Jojen clucks his tongue softly as he comes closer, Bran's wolf cloak draped over his arm just in case they wind up needing it again. ]
I wonder, will you listen to my advice in the future if you get stuck enough times? [ His tone is light though, and he offers him a bit of an amused look. At least he's no longer stuck on the roof. ]
