Apparently what is on your screen is Dean Winchester. It may be hard to tell, unless you are intimately acquainted with his internal organs.

There is a body strapped upright to a mirror in the ballroom, buck-ass nude and with all its inner parts on display. (ooc: that second link is to a drawing of a pig dissected.) The body has been carefully dissected, and the organs carefully pinned in place so that nothing will fall out. Well. Not all of organs, if you look closely. There's a small gap where the spleen should be.

Others have been relocated. The body is eyeless (they're on a chair in front of Dean) and thumbless (they're down the throat). The lack of blood indicates that someone has taken the time to drain Dean of all blood before setting him up here.

Lucifer doesn't seem to mind sharing all this with the network without a warning. One part of a human is the same as another, right?

Instead of sounding pleased - as one might expect from a being who would like to end all humans - his voice sounds resigned.] I suppose this is humanity for you.

[ If this were a normal case, Sam would have a pretty good idea of what happened. They'd been looking into a serial killer and Dean-- Dean turns up like this. If this were a normal case, Sam would be sympathetic, but smart. Composed. Diligent.

He may be a little bit of each of those things, but he's mostly just mad. ]

Sam- [His voice is gentle.] I'm sorry you had to see that without any warning.

[ Anger flares up, licking his insides, burning his words. ]

The Hell you are. You had some part in this, if you didn't do it all yourself, and now you're throwing it up for everyone to see. Jesus. For all that crap you say about how I've got the wrong idea, well... you're proving yourself wrong.

[ If he was near the guy, Sam would spit in Lucifer's face. Or shoot him, whichever. ]

[ Sam draws out a seething breath in a huff, shoulders tensed. ]

I would ask your permission to use you as a vessel, first and foremost. Then, I would allow you to do whatever you liked to Dean's killer. Finally, I would take Wonderland apart, piece by piece, until I found the way out.

[Yeah, no point lying about it.]

Which you know I'll never give. [ Not again, anyway. ] And you might be able to take out the killer, but even you couldn't get us out of Wonderland. It's stronger than you are.
