[ Crowley's dark wings loom dangerously behind him and not much of his surroundings can be see in the video, but it's probably hard to pay attention to the wall behind him when there's a livid angel on the screen.

His face is tense in a way few people have seen during his time in Wonderland. He's not annoyed or frustrated. He's angry. ]

John Blake is dead, but at least one of you already knew that, didn't you?

[ And, oh, is he going to teach them a lesson. ]

[So, was this what her not!friend looked like in reality? Evil and threatening? Perhaps it wasn't the best time to talk to the demon but Integra didn't care. She knew murderous intent when she saw it. Livid rage.]

[ She's been laying low, because it hadn't taken her long to figure out this was an event and things had gone all strange again. She's not affected, but some of her companions are, and just to be safe, she's been staying out of the way until things are set to rights again.

[Evelyn only spoke with him a day or so ago, in one of the Mansion's many parlours. There had been the slightest undercurrent of tension between them, but it was nothing that two old friends could not surmount.

John's eagerness (although she had previously called him rash) to find Wonderland's serial killer was - is strong, and perhaps it is some great cosmic irony that Wonderland chose to take one of his lives away after Evelyn spent all that time telling him about the impermanence of death here.

The shoe fits too snugly to be comfortable.]

It doesn't matter that their last conversation (though thanks to Wonderland, not last, but it's a cold comfort) was a hot blooded travesty from John's direction, but Wonderland's chosen method of cooling his heels is a perfect example of its sick fucking sense of humor. ]

[Sam has been hiding from the event for the most part. People have changed and he's not interested in becoming a pawn in some heavenly war between people who... well, they aren't. It's scary venturing outside so it's been video games and comics in his room for the weekend.

But this... this is so much worse.

He doesn't know Crowley very well, and Blake a little less, but they'd both sort of been decent to him the last time they had an event (and he tries to forgot what had gone on in that janitor's cupboard) and he knows what it's like to lose someone.]

[With angels and demons both out in large numbers over this particular weekend, Martha's done what she can to keep herself and her friends safe. Which mainly involves laying low and avoiding those who've been affected, both for her sake and for theirs.

She's well aware of how much regret can set in after an event ends, and she'd rather not make it worse for anyone.

In this case, though, she can't simply ignore what's going on. Crowley's never had wings before, so it seems he's been upgraded from demon to angel, although Blake's death is a much larger concern for her.

This keeps on happening, and the frustrating part is they won't have a way of narrowing down who did it.]

Not sure the culprit's just going to show up because you asked. [She's wearing a frown -- Blake's a friend, and she's sick of death.] Where did you find him? What state was he in?

[Al takes this news...about as well as anyone who knows him would suspect. He's always been a little too close to those humans he chooses to guide, and Blake in particular is quite dear to him. So it's a very, very distressed angel that comes on the feed.]

He--he was killed? When, how?

[Greed takes a while to respond, what with dropping his device from numbed fingers as soon as he sees the message. You can't protect him, you can't protect any of them- even when he wasn't human and powerless he could never seem to manage to keep any of his people safe-

He waits to answer until his own rage has mostly replaced the shock.]
