[ a little while ago dean brutally murdered one demon king of hell, crowley, and hurt john blake in the process. before that, he murdered both his best friend and brother, and attacked a whole bunch of people once near and dear to him. today, thankfully, finds him doing something entirely different as dean addresses the network with a lazy smile on his face.

This place is kinda morbid, right? Murders and fights and scheming going on left and right— leaves your head spinning even on a good day. So I figure I should try to shake things up a little, and offer something… uh, nicer to the public.

The female public, anyway. Here I’ve attached a collection of potential good times, so if you see your name and wanna have fun — which means get laid, for the less savvy people — then lem’me know. No strings attached, no flowers and chocolates bullshit. I’m easy like that.

[James' insides turn as he describes it. James knows that look but he would never call it sweet, and the fact that Dean can is just sickening.]

You won't get that pleasure. She knows what you are now. What, did you think I wouldn't tell her? That I wouldn't warn people about you?

[Everyone James knows from home has gotten the speech by now, and they're all on guard.]

You're not going to find her. I'll do everything I can to make sure you don't find her.

Pretty sure everyone knows by now-- and yet somehow it ain't slowin' down the body count. Funny, right? Almost like the people you all are so sure will find a way to stop me are actually failing.

[ hell, cas hadn't been able to do what was necessary even when he'd had the chance. at least sammy never really had a second to think before it'd all been over. ]

I'm gonna work my way through all of you, one by one. Her time'll come around sooner or later. [ and when it does, he'll make sure james knows. ]

[It's definitely a concern, one that leaves James uneasy. Sam had said there was a cure, and James trusts him, but this is not happening fast enough. Still, he steels himself and tries not to let it show.]

Don't get comfortable. Every person you kill? That's just one more person who knows your tricks, and one more person who'll warn ten of their friends. You can't keep this up forever. They will stop you.

[And if they don't? James will find a way to himself. Or, at least he wants to think he will. Maybe if he glares enough, he can make Dean think so too. Maybe the truth won't be so obvious - that James would hesitate to harm someone he once called a friend.]

[ while it's true that his whole murder gig has spread like wild fire, dean doesn't appear too worried. he's got this, he can handle anything sam and his posse might try to throw at him. and in return? he'll murder anyone who gets in his way. ]

So much faith. [ it makes you weak. ] We'll see how many people dyin' it takes to shatter it.

[ for all the glaring, it would be infinitely amusing and entertaining to see if james could really deal with him-- so many people claim to have no problem with it, yet have failed when the chance had presented itself. just ask, say, cas how that all worked out for him. ]

But enough chit-chat! You know me, more a guy of action than anything-- and since you're so eager to test me, I better get to work.

[He does have faith, and if faith makes him weak he doesn't want to be whatever it would take to make him strong.

However, mention of work to do leaves James very uneasy. He can't shake the feeling it's more about murder and less about getting into these women's beds, and he hates that he has no idea what Dean is up to.]

Get to work with what, exactly?

[Somehow he doubts that Dean will admit to it, but he can't let Dean think he's just going to let it go without a second thought.]

[ there's a moment where he considers telling james, just to see if the kid might actually try to do anything. but then, leaving things shrouded in mystery is also a great time for everyone involved. his voice is mockingly sing-song. ]

You'll find out.

[ of course, he could be talking about all of this-- all the women he's called out. or maybe it's something else, something that won't happen for a few more days. whoever knows, seeing as only time will tell.

and, well, jo's dead body-- but details. ]

[That answer is absolutely not good enough and James is livid.]

We will stop you, you sodding bastard! Don't think for even a moment that we won't!

[There isn't much else to say. Dean's clearly about to go so James refuses to let him have the satisfaction of hanging up on him. Instead he ends the call himself, but he still feels like that isn't enough somehow, so he pitches his network device across the room and hopes Dean can just feel it somehow.]
