01 🔥 video
I'm getting real tired of getting dumped in strange places against my will. I don't like it.
[There's a low, dangerous growl of disapproval and the expression on Mick's face is not a pretty one. It's somewhat reminiscent of an angry bull. This was the second time in God knows how many days that Mick Rory has found himself stranded somewhere new and different, unsure what the hell is happening. It's not a good feeling. It didn't inspire much good will.
Though this is a definite improvement over the last place. For one, there's food. For another, he gets a free smart phone to yell at people over and voice his anger. Not bad. Though he did kind of think they went a little overboard with the white. What was with all the decorations anyway? This better not be like some low rent Christmas Town cause honestly, that sounded a lot like hell.]
You got five minutes to convince me not to torch this place to the ground cause I ain't in the mood to play nice right now. Somebody start talking. [The words come out as an angry snarl, teeth barred. He's not a happy bunny.]

I'm not sure anyone likes being interdimensionally kidnapped. [Not helping, Cisco.] But there's free food and booze? [That'll help. Right? Nailed it.]
video;
[He's a little louder than he probably needs to be, barking it out less as a question and more as an order. You, tiny nerd person, will direct him to this bounty or face the consequences. Of more yelling.]

[That's almost a thank you in Mick talk. Or Mick growls. He pauses though, looking at the person he's talking to. He knows him. Oh. What timing.]
I remember you. Do you remember me? [There's a slight uptwist of his lips.] I can give you a reminder if you need it.

[There's a beat.]
We're going for a drink. Get your ass to the fifth floor. Now.

The feed is disconnected and he pockets his device before escaping his room and heading up to the bar floor.
Dear Wonderland,
Plz don't let him die
Much love,
Cisco.]

[He's not in a happy chatty mood right now, he just barks his orders and waits. There's a lot of booze here and he's already nabbed himself something specifically flammable. He's using the lighter he stole earlier to light his shots up. If anyone knows how to light up his booze, it's Heatwave. Besides, it's a little trip down memory lane. How nice of him.
He waits, watching the door, hand gently over the burning flame.]
Action
He walks into the bar and spots Mick nearly immediately--kinda hard to miss the guy playing with fire--and lifts his hand in an awkward wave. Why is he waving? He puts his hand down at his side again.] I see you're making yourself right at home already.
Action
Sit. You and me, we gotta talk. And I ain't in a good mood so don't piss me off. For your sake, not for mine. [Mick looks very battered. A lot batter. He just went a brutal round with Leonard Snart and a few rounds with Faith. He's tired, hurting and he needs something. He doesn't feel too much like being gentle about it.
Still, he slides him a flaming shot. See? Nice.]
Action
Okay... [They were hardly buddies, he can't fathom what he'd want to talk to him about. He notes how battered Mick looks, but he doesn't comment on it. Cisco eyes the shot for a second before downing it because holy, shit, he's pretty sure he needs this.] what do you wanna talk about?
Action
[Which was a giant understatement. Mick isn't drinking his drink, just admiring the flame. It won't last long but he likes the feeling of it against his palm. Literally. Right against it. Burning gently against his hand. He hisses lightly at the feeling. Almost as good as the booze.]
I lost my gun.
Action
Maybe it would be slightly less annoying if he didn't have a 14 year old girl trying to convince him to build her a cold gun "like Lenny's got" for the last few weeks. Maya Hart is one stubborn and persistent teenage girl.]
And you want me to make another one. [His voice is flat, knowing and matter-of-fact because he knows that's gotta be what's coming.]
action
You gonna do it easy or am I gonna have to make you because I already got in two fights today and I'm not really angling for a third.
action
If I don't, you're just gonna force me, aren't you? [More matter-of-fact tones. Because that's not a doubt in Cisco's mind.] But if I do, what's stopping you from following up on your threat from earlier, about burning the place? I can't have that on my hands, you know that. [Because he does know the general direction where Cisco's moral compass lands, at least.]
action.
[They have to be level pegging or Mick is going to get a little restless. He doesn't want them to have the victory of taking his gun. He could just get another. He knocks back his shot and turns his head, looking at the kid properly. He's bruised, his lip is still bleeding and there's something in his eyes. It's not just anger and annoyance, it's pain and it's pretty damn vivid. He's hoping the more he drinks, the more it'll disappear.]
Cause. [He looks away.] I got standards. There's kids. Besides, it lost it's appeal when I found out it comes back. Boring.
action.
And yet. He can see where Mick is coming from, too. Whatever that means for Cisco's own capacity for bad leanings. He wouldn't want to be at that big of a disadvantage either. Maybe it's not sound logic, but it is logic.
He pretends not to notice the all-too-familiar emotions burning in Mick's eyes. He leans over and grabs another of the shots that was lined up on the bartop and takes it.]
I'm guessing I'm not getting anything out of this. Besides the lack of a serious beating. [Which in the immediate was a pretty good trade, but in the long run, didn't mean much at all.]
.
[And right now, that really was something because Mick was taking a pop at everyone he could and that, unfortunately, included people like Cisco. He was only reigning it in to get the gun the easy way, not the hard way. Something Leonard taught him. Sometimes it was about being clever more than brutal.]
Plus I'll owe you a solid. Cause I'm feeling generous. [He doesn't have to give Cisco anything but he's tired and he would really rather this just went his way for once so there he was, trying to offer something. Even if it wasn't much of something.] It's better than a beating, kid. I'd take it.
no subject
The idea of an IOU is curious, though. Earns him a perked eyebrow, but Cisco knows better than the question it. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.]
Seems like a fair enough trade. [Maybe. Maybe not. There was nothing that said Mick had to keep his end of that deal. But then...criminals as they may be, Leonard and Mick kind of had a code of sorts of their own, too, didn't they? Maybe Cisco wouldn't have to come to regret this admittedly probably terrible life decision.] It'll take a few days.
no subject
[Mick knocks back the drunk in his hand, just trying to edge himself a little further out of the 'everything fucking hurts' box to the 'I'm so drunk and everything is numb' box so he could just cope a little better with Snart being here, having to be dealt with. Not just Len, Ray as well. All of them just here. It's annoying.]
You staying to drink or are you running away? [Mick doesn't care either way, he's just curious.] Cause if you leave now and you go back on our little deal here, I will come for you. And trust me, you little geek, I don't need a fire gun to burn every inch of you.
no subject
I'm not gonna go back on our deal. But I am gonna go get a jump on finding the parts I need. Can't build your gun if I'm drunk. [Nailed it. He gets to his feet and hopes like hell Mick doesn't have a reason to stop him.] See you around, Heatwave.
