text;
Back when I arrived (the first time), someone posted this. It was a lot of fun, so I thought I'd do it tonight. It's better than staring at this data and willing it to change.
Word association. Reply with the first word that comes to mind. No cheating.
To start us off: help.

I think so. Are you the only one from your world here?
[Speaking of friends and all. Settling in was much easier with companions around to help.]
[text]
No, I have my older brother and more than a few of my high school classmates. I know that can be a blessing, usually.
What about you?
[He's currently Not Talking to most people from his world, so he'd rather sidestep it as much as possible.]
[text]
It sounds like it. Were they were before you?
[Since Minato didn't know that there were on a Not Talking basis. But Minato was only curious to see how people from different worlds were pulled into Wonderland, not necessarily just to know that Stefan wasn't alone for long either.]
There are two people from my future that I didn't know about until being here.
[That was a blessing too.]
[text]
Yes and no. My brother's five years in my future, and my friends are either two or three years behind. None of us from the same points in time.
[He doesn't mind answering questions, as general as they are!]
No kidding? How'd you figure out you were from the same world?
[text]
Did they tell you about your future?
[Whoa, that typo. But you knew what I meant! He appreciated that Stefan did answer his questions. He did want to know too how others felt about learning about the future they hadn't lived through yet.]
One of them has been here a while. He figured it out and told me when I was here the last two times.
[text]
He didn't, no. Whatever happened back home doesn't affect what we have now, theoretically.
[Part of Stefan's a little grateful: nothing good ever happens in Mystic Falls.]
That makes sense. So you've been here before?
[text]
If you had a choice to know about the future though, would you want to know?
[Just curious. But it was fine too if Stefan didn't want to know. Sometimes that was a good thing.]
I have. I didn't notice either time.
[Which was also good too because it confirmed that time did stop at home. That was a relief for sure.]
[text]
[That's a good question. Stefan's not entirely sure, given that he doesn't even remember his past. If he wanted to know, that choice had been there.
Had. He's not exactly talking to his brother.]
I don't know. If time's stopped here, like you said, then I wouldn't be able to act on that knowledge back home.
[text]
[Does that count as a word? Sort of?
And that assessment was true. But there was always the hope, he thought, that maybe someone would remember.]
That's true. Then you might not have to worry about it when it hasn't happened and it couldn't be stopped?
[text]
[He doesn't get the immediate association - boy doesn't know his Tarot cards - but he'll roll with it.]
That, and I'm also not the same person who's waiting for everyone back home. Our time here's changed us, hasn't it? Our conversations and relationships aren't going to be the same, because back home, we don't remember this place.
[text]
[Clock works! Minato knew about those all too well.]
What are you like back at home?
[Was it really different from how he was now? It was true that being here changed them, but did people change that quickly?
Maybe. He could see how that might be happening then.]
[text]
For starters, I'm not amnesiac. The rest is a pretty long story, but I wouldn't mind meeting up in person to talk about it.
[Also, by "pretty long," he also means "melodramatic." His life is nothing short of a trainwreck.]
[text]
Hanged Man.
[Or Personas. One of those would've worked whenever he thought of the number 12.]
If you have time, I'd like to meet.
[That was totally cool with him. He'd like to Stefan in person too.]
[text]
[He doesn't get the association, but he'll roll with it again...]
I have more than enough time. Where would you like to meet up?
[text]
[That sounded way too pessimistic for what he meant.]
Is a tearoom okay? Third floor?
[A tearoom was more casual than the dining room and closer to the library and ground floor if need be. Most of the people lived on the lower floors, so he wouldn't want to make anyone trek up the stairs too high.]
[text]
[Ah, perfect suggestion! Stefan spends far too much time in tea rooms for his own good to begin with.]
Sounds perfect. Give me ten-fifteen minutes and I'll come join you.
[text] -> [action]
I'll see you soon.
[Minato was definitely looking forward to the meeting. He headed downstairs too to the tea room and would wait there for Stefan to arrive.]
