[ on what must be one of the first days of relative peace, a feed opens to present a newcomer. Leia is dressed as she normally would, all in white, collar high. The clothes she came with have been tossed away but there is nothing she can do about the ugly bruise on her neck, circular, red. it would turn to purple in a few days and is a dead giveaway for a collar of metal that bit into her skin until very recently.

her palms tell a story too, skin peeling at places, red and irritated from when she pulled on metal. However, it'd be difficult to pass her for the slave girl whose part she'd been forced to play. There's an air of authority to her even now.

Oh, and there's the blaster she tucks just beneath her belt, a touch of black on an otherwise white palette. ]

Well, this is rich.

[ biting with just a hint of sass but then, she seems to realize her message is finally being sent. ]

I see no practical reason for so much technology when we all live in the same cell.

[ this is what she calls this, a cell. A prison is a prison, vast as it may be. ]

But if you hear my message, know I mean you no harm. I understand I've come in a time of great peril [ somehow, she senses it in the very air around the halls ]. My own world is in great peril as well, it is urgent that they'll receive any help available if they're to see our mission done.

[ a beat. ]

We share the same predicament, I ask that we share information as well. If there is anything worth knowing about this system, I'd hear it and if any assistance is needed, I will supply.

[ While he's known for being pretty quick to assess a situation and pick up on what's going on, there hasn't hardly been time for that before Robin John Blake is addressing the network, a rather uneasy expression wrinkling his forehead, his whole being scrunched up while he tries to get used to using a video function that is nowhere near standard in his time and place. ]

Uh... Know this is gonna sound kinda weird, but— [ Believe it or not, John Blake, there isn't much you could say that the denizen of Wonderland would consider weird, but you go ahead and give it a try, buddy. ] Well... don't s'pose I'm dreamin', am I?

[ It feels like a good guess because he doesn't remember traveling, and he certainly doesn't remember leaving home, and since the last thing he'd done was attend a funeral, it could be a strange coincidence, a fabrication of his mind that's now semi-lucid, sitting here telling him how what he sees and feels can't be what's actually happening. People don't just appear in storybooks (and even if he did, it wouldn't be this celebrated tale). ]

Barrin' that, think I might be dead... [ It's mumbled in an off-hand way, as if maybe he's already considered it, but decided not to lead with that theory. Audible to the rest, even if he's quick to move on from saying it. ] But on the off chance I'm not either of those things, think someone could help me out figurin' what's goin' on here?

[ He likes to think a uniform would have added something to this request, but having just given up his badge for good, all he can do is address everyone as a regular guy — definitely not his first choice, since it usually does him no favors.

He looks like he's done, about to end the transmission, when something else occurs to him.
] —in person, if possible. Not really— Not really much of a fan of these things, not if I can help it.

[ He can't, not here, but he'll at least be content to try for a while. With luck, it won't even matter when he wakes up from all of this... ]

Be— [ A gesture over his shoulder. ] Gonna be outside for a while — out front. So... yeah.

[Georgia doesn't address the network until later, when she's had a chance to clean up. Her hair's dyed back to its usual dark brown. She has a black blazer over a white shirt, a few sizes smaller than she's used to, but they look like her clothes. She has shoes and she's seriously debating sleeping in them. And she has sunglasses, wrapping the world back in its usual comforting monotone and hiding her far too normal eyes. She looks like herself again. She nods as the recording starts.]

My name is Georgia Mason, and I can tell you for a fact that I have never been here before in my life.

[She shakes her head, holding up a hand.]

I have never been here before, and yet I remember everything. I remember space. I remember wizard school. I remember paintball and New Year's parties and writing op-eds that pissed people off and actually starting a print publication.

[It's almost comforting that she feels the same amount of disdain for print. Anything that's the same about her is something to cling to. She takes a deep breath before continuing.]

I remember a lot of things that didn't happen to me. Up to and including, my brother holding a gun to the base of my skull and shooting me before I could turn into a zombie. I know that didn't happen to me because that's not the sort of thing you live through. Those are all things that happened to Georgia Mason and I--

[She smiles shallowly, almost sadly, and forces herself to keep looking at the camera. Not like anyone can see where her eyes are pointing through the sunglasses, but it's important to her that she stays strong.]

I'm the closest thing you're gonna get. I'm a genetically identical clone with 97% of her memories, and how the fuck that can include Wonderland when I didn't remember it at the time of my death is one of many things about this place that will never make sense to me. It's up to you to decide if I still count as her. I don't know how to be anyone else.

[She adjusts her sunglasses, leaning in towards the camera and adds, in an entirely pleasant and matter-of-fact tone:]

Now. Can anyone tell me where the fuck my brother wound up? His stuff's still here, but he's not answering his phone. If Wonderland was seriously enough of an asshole to take him away before I got back, I'm going to start setting things on fire until I get him back.

[She reaches to turn off the camera, then hesitates. Nothing matters as much as finding Shaun, but that doesn't mean nothing else matters. She's Georgia Mason, for better or for worse, and she has a paper to run.]

Until I find him, address all queries about The Shattered Mirror to me. Thank you.

[She cuts the feed. Now she gets to wait. She's held herself together this long. She can manage another week. Fuck she hopes it's not more than a week.]

For the time being please direct all inquiries regarding The Shattered Mirror's newsie and fictional divisions to this blog. Georgia Mason and Georgette Meissonier have both disappeared from Wonderland.

And as a personal side note, with both of my co-editors MIA, I'm not going to be in any kind of mood to deal with bullshit, so if we could keep any "it'll be okay," and "they'll probably be back" or whatever to a minimum, that would be fantastic.

Thanks.

And now she's...gone. Not permanently, but for now, for an indeterminate amount of time. ]

If you know Michonne, she's...gone. Her stuff is still here, at least. I know she's close to a few people here so I wanted to just...reach out.

[ She thinks about what else she could possibly say. She can't fill the void Michonne leaves behind, but she can make her own offer. ]

therapize: (this isn't your fault)
[personal profile] therapize
[It’s perhaps one of the most peaceful events Cami’s ever experienced. It had felt more like a field trip than anything sinister or cruel, a journey into outer space untainted by some twist to their personalities or memories. In the two years she’s spent in Wonderland, Cami can’t name another time when the machinations of this place have been so kind.

Which is why, she thinks, she should expect the announcements that filter through the network so soon thereafter. Announcements of departure, of loss so like death, and two of those names strike Cami so closely that it feels like someone’s torn a wound into her chest.

She doesn’t put up anything right away—but it also doesn’t take so long as one might expect from someone who is grieving. Cami has always processed her pain by throwing herself into something, finding some action to take.

This time, there’s a rather large one.

She’s not in her own office when the feed opens, or even the privacy of her room. Instead she’s sitting at the bar—not behind it. Not until she’s finished the glass of bourbon she’s poured herself at the very least.

It’s neither the first, nor the last she’ll have that day.]

Starting today, the therapy office will be closed for the next week. [She pauses, her eyes lowering for a moment as she takes a breath.] Maybe longer. It depends on how long the other part of this takes. If anyone has an emergency, you can call me, but I won’t be keeping regular hours. Sorry.

[She looks back towards the camera then. Cami thinks she should feel some guilt about it, hence the apology—but she doesn’t.

They can live without her for a week.]

That other part I mentioned is this: the fifth floor bar. [She waves a hand briefly towards the space around her, but the truth is, most everyone likely knows about it already.] I’m the last regular worker here, which in theory makes me the de facto owner. The thing is, I already have one full time job. I can’t run this place alone.

[Cami can recognize that much of a limit at least. There’s a break while she takes a drink; the feed is pretty quiet, all things considered.]

I’m not giving it up. [Let’s establish that first.] But I need help. Bartenders especially, although if you want to volunteer and you don’t have any experience, I can teach you. I’m hoping to find some people who do, however, before Friday.

We’re going to be hosting—well. The closest thing to it would be an Irish wake. [She’s trying to be kind. It is a wake for Jo, because she’s dead in her world. Dead and gone, because just being stripped of her memories of Simon somehow isn’t bad enough.] Irish specifically, because it’s not for grieving. It’s for celebrating the people who were here and who aren’t now. See, if you knew Jo and Simon especially, you know they wouldn’t want a bunch of sad mourners crying over them. They'd want another way to be remembered, so that’s what’s going to happen. ABBA and all.

[Grieving can come before or after--and after. Cami leans forward towards the camera, a grin on her lips that doesn’t quite manage to be happy.]

We’re going to celebrate the chance to have had them in our lives, for however long that lasted. Because if anyone managed to find a way to live in this place, and to make it truly good? It was them.

[It should still be them.

Cami takes in a breath; someone listening closely enough might hear how shaky it is. What’s easier to see is the brief brush of her fingers under her eyes, wiping away the tears that threaten to form and fall. She knows she needs to finish this soon, and she tries to smile again. Maybe she even manages to be a bit friendlier this time.]

Friday night. Wear your neon. And if you’re interested in helping out, either just for the night or long-term, let me know.

[And with that, she cuts off the feed.]

For those who knew him, Simon Lauchlan isn't here anymore.

He uh... Someone might want to take care of the gym for him. Not really my area of expertise. And he- he was never from as far along in time as I am. But for his friends... even if he didn't know it when he was here, things get better for him. Sort of. Eventually.

So... yeah. I guess people should know. Soon as I can, I'm gonna do a thing on the beach. Something from home, to remember the people who've gone. I'll let people know when I do.

But she's a professional and there's no fiddling with the device once she's streaming. She just presents a brilliant, camera-ready smile. ]

Hello, Wonderland! I'm Buffy Meissonier and I'm here representing After the End Times as its Fiction lead to announce we're now actively seeking creative writing submissions. If you made it we're willing to look at it and potentially print it. This isn't limited to only fiction either. Poetry, fanfiction, creative nonfiction, humor, art... the sky is the limit so long as we can actually print it on paper.

[ She is pretty actively excited for this going by her smile. It's not quite the same as back home but the fiction department was her baby and she wants to see it up and moving again. ]

If you're curious about our submission guidelines and requirements or just have questions in general about our policies I'm here to answer them. And if you think you want to submit to the zine you can drop your entry at the After the End Times office, room 60 on the 9th floor or you can submit them to me privately through the network devices.

We're looking forward to hearing from you!

[The video feed shows Kanji leaning against the counter in the diner, his chin in hand as he props himself up on one elbow. He's still wearing his blue apron, but it looks like he's been taking a break from his usual clean-up duties for a little while now, frowning to himself thoughtfully.]

I got a question for you, Wonderland. Riley an' I were talkin' about events awhile back, and I've been thinkin' about it ever since. A lot of 'em have been pretty rough lately, right? But sometimes you hear people say that they're not always bad, that sometimes they're kinda fun. People seem to be havin' a rough time lately, so maybe it's time we thought about some of the positives of Wonderland, instead. Long as we're stuck here, we might as well.

So, tell me: what events have you seen here that you really liked? Maybe someone's asked this before, but if they did, I missed out on it. I heard there were a bunch of puppies once, that sounds like it was probably a good one. I thought Hogwarts was pretty fun, but I know it wasn't like that for everyone. If you can't think of any events you liked, maybe just talk about some of the good stuff that mighta happened to you here. Friends you've made you wouldn't have gotten to meet elsewhere, stuff like that.

I'll be in the diner all day if anyone wants to talk in person.

[Later in the afternoon, anyone who comes into the diner will find that he's abandoned his post at the counter, having taken up residence in a corner booth with his mop and bucket resting against the wall nearby. He's made himself comfortable in the booth itself, sitting length-wise with his feet sticking out of the end, several sheets of paper spread out across the table with the Rabbit Hole's basic menu next to them as a reference. There are a few scrapped attempts already-- sketches in colored pencil of menu designs he's decided he doesn't like, but it's pretty clear that he's undertaken a Project.]

Sam wakes up on the beach and stares up at the sky. Clear endless blue. The last time he’d been at the beach, everyone had nearly drowned and the Minister had taken over Abel. It had not been the best day. This beach though, this is not some dreary English beach complete with creepy Viking zombies. It’s soft sand and clear sky and… he frowns and rolls over and squints into the distance.

The mansion is there and suddenly it all comes flooding back.

It’s weird to be back in Wonderland again. After everything that has happened at home, it’s been a long time, but at the same time, not very long at all. Suddenly he feels incredibly out of place. He remembers talking to Billy about being a different person to the one he’d been at home, but now it’s different, the other way around. He’s not the same person he had been when he’d last been in Wonderland. That had been, what? A year ago? Longer even.

He pushes himself up to his feet. It’s a painful movement. Everything is painful right now. He’s covered in blood and bruises and cuts where Ian had hurt him. He stares at the mansion for a moment before heading towards it, stopping every few moments to rest. The Ministry had not been kind to him. Ian had been worse.

Figures that Wonderland would dump him there instead of in his bed.

Oh god, he can sleep on a real bed again!

--------

[Sam appears on the screen. He is, to put it honestly, a mess, covered in bruises and cuts and burns that look too neat to be accidental. He gives the screen a somewhat wry look.]

This is getting to be a bit of a habit isn’t it? I vanish and come back a week or two later looking a right mess. Why can I never return after a restful night’s sleep and a calm day?

Oh wait. Apocalypse, yeah. That’s a thing that’s still going on.

So uh… Hi. [He gives a little wave, looking a bit awkward.] Sorry for vanishing again. Not like I get much choice in the matter but uh… Sorry anyway. Don’t like to worry people.

I’m fine. Mostly. It’s good to be back. What's trying to kill us this week?

Baby it's cold outside (Action for Leonard Snart) )

[Well. Now that Rip has had an introduction provided by Mr. Snart paired with the opportunity to change into dry clothes, he decides to get straight to business. Never mind that he's been assured that time does not move within this realm, that somehow this fictional-based fantasy world is even more separated from time than the Vanishing Point. Despite that safety net (which he has not yet bought into, for the record), Rip possesses no desire to linger within these walls. Luckily the outdated technology provided for communication is simple enough to figure out. He turns on the video feed, making little attempt to put on a pleasant face—but he does have a British accent, so his voice sounds nice?]

Yes, hello there. My name is Rip Hunter, a just newly arrived prisoner of this—this sadly real version of seventies-era drug-induced hallucination.

[He might be a little frustrated here.]

I've been given an overview the way this dimension functions from one of my comrades here, most relevantly the supposed fact that escape is impossible. I would like to confirm this with the population at large.

[More to the point, he wants to know who is working to defy that rule. Raymond can't have been the only scientific mind brought to this world. Whatever efforts are being made, Rip wants in. He simply won’t say as much over the network, in case it is being monitored. Just as he remains certain that someone is trying to escape, he is equally sure someone is responsible for their imprisonment, even if their identity remains yet unknown.

Of course, wisdom dictates he be prepared for anything, and he pauses but a moment before continuing.]

I suppose I should also ask about some of the other things I’ve been told. While I have no reason to disbelieve those present from my own universe [liars and thieves though two of them may be], some of the things they described go well beyond the limits of what should be possible—and trust me when I say that given my own background, that is a definite point of concern.

Has there been any data collected on these so-called “events?” Any success in discovering how this world and the people within it are altered, seemingly at random?

[Anything at all that might show a successful resistance to all Rip has been told—ah, but he stops himself before that much spills out. Probably better not to piss off the general population on his first broadcast. He’s already got a disgruntled crew to manage, after all.]

That should suffice for now. Thank you all, for both your time and your cooperation.

[Now please, give Rip the answers he wants to hear.

With that done, Rip makes a few adjustments to the broadcast settings. The feed has ended for the population at large, but two particular residents get their own special message.]

With those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings (Video for Ray Palmer and Mick Rory) )

[With that, he ends the transmission, though his wait won't be idle. He has a sprawling landscape to explore now that he's no longer soaked from his earlier arrival. If he is to be stuck there for the duration, Rip intends to know all he can about this prison--which means in turn, he can be found almost anywhere over the course of the next few days.]

If there's one thing I've learned about Wonderland in the weeks that I've been forced to start calling it home: it's that it lies to you.

But so do lots of people, right? Everyone has a reason to lie. Some people lie to hurt other people, but some people lie out of kindness. Some people try to protect you with comforting falsehoods. How do we know that Wonderland isn't lying for our own good?

I can't tell you that. I don't know Wonderland's motivations, if there even is any sort of guiding intelligence behind it and not just pure chance.

What I can tell you is this: it doesn't matter. Lying out of kindness is just as bad as lying out of cruelty. Possibly even worse. Comforting falsehoods might be nicer in the moment than cruel truths, but I'll take the truth every time. Is it better to spare a family by telling them their dying child might get better? Or to allow them to cherish the time they have left? Is it better to tell someone their writing is good? Or send them an honest critique that could let them actually improve until you could say so without it being a lie?

Is it better to lose the memories that have hurt you and spend a weekend in blissful ignorance? Or hold onto every iota of the pain that has built you and remember exactly why you fight? Lies won't take the time to heal you. Only the truth can do that.

Wonderland is the biggest lie I've ever seen. I cannot promise a way out of this gilded, wonderful cage. That would be a lie, even if it's one I'd like to believe. I can only promise that I'll do everything I can to find the truth all of those lies are working at concealing. I won't quit until I uncover all the secrets Wonderland is hiding.

Or until Wonderland gets tired of all the prodding and sends me home. Here's hoping, right?

[ Obviously a wrong turn was taken here somewhere, because as far as Rick knows, he was just in the middle of storming away from a campsite and heading for the woods. There's still woods here, of course, but it's not the woods he remembers last seeing.

In his experience, people don't just start walking in one direction only to wind up in another location entirely. So there's that particular problem to sort out. The other problem is figuring out where he is, who (and what) is around, and whether any of them can be trusted. It's not really ideal, using the phone that he's been given, because who knows who might be listening on the other end? But on the other hand, he doesn't have a lot of options here, so Rick pauses by a tree, fishes out the phone, and presses a button to turn it on. ]

My name is Georgia Carolyn Mason. I'm a licensed journalist from After the End Times. Five years ago, on a website that is inaccessible from this location, I started my blog and wrote my mission statement: to always tell the truth no matter the cost. For the past several months I've been following Senator Peter Ryman's presidential campaign and reporting on his progress. For the past few minutes, I had been running for my life after someone blew up my trailer. It turns out that cost was a lot higher than I ever anticipated. And that was just zombies and a government conspiracy. What will the cost be for telling this new truth: that I seem to have woken up in a literal fairytale?

I tested clean five minutes ago, and hallucinations have never been one of the symptoms of Kellis-Amberlee. I'm forced to conclude that this is, indeed happening and not a very strange dream. I would like nothing more than a way to send this information home so that our readers could know about this, but I've done my research. All sources indicate that is, for the time being, impossible. So, I suppose, I'll just have to start reporting here, and know that someday, should the opportunity arise, I'll be able to bring the news home.

In the meantime, if anyone here is a doctor, or even better an epidemiologist or virologist, I have some questions.

[ Probably not reassuring, considering how much actually happened before she was made aware of Joel's arrival, but... better late than never, right? ]

He acted like that 'cause he was looking for me. He thought I was in danger. If you're gonna be pissed at someone, or feel like you need to get revenge on someone, then blame me.

[ Not that she'll lay down her life (or, one of her lives) for somebody pitching a fight, though... ]

I'm watching out for him now. Nobody gets to see him and nobody is allowed to come after him. If you try and do anything to him, you have to go through me, and it'd be pretty shitty to kill a kid over this.

[ They're in a world now where people don't actually kill kids, so she figures it's safe to play that card. With that, and with a decisive sniff, she closes the feed. ]

[Mary had been looking over some of the books in the library. Most of which are after her time and are...confusing to say the least.]

I knew books would be different that what I read, but these are so strange. Romances with monsters, books filled with gore and murder...

Reading should be an escape from the horrors that fill our worlds and yet these books seem to be in abundance.

[Shaking her head, she sets a book on the table.]

Times change so damn much.

[ Even though he's been in Wonderland for nearly two months at this point, this is the first time Will has made a post on the network, and only about the fourth time he's used his device at all. He's not a terrifically outgoing person, and it's easy for him to assume that people are probably better off without his input in most cases.

However, the network is clearly a good way to get answers and information, and ever since his conversation with Bedelia... He's been thinking a lot about "home". Been wondering if there are any people here in similar circumstances. It's been on his mind enough that eventually, he settles on simply straight-up asking people, if only to shut the train of thought down and put an end to the curiosity. And, perhaps, put himself a bit at ease. If that's even a possibility.

The question isn't posed through video, or even audio. This is more easily handled through text. And, it...makes the whole thing slightly less awkward, which doesn't hurt. ]

Is anyone out there uncertain about whether or not you'd like to go home?

Do you feel as though Wonderland may be the lesser of two evils? That you may be better off here than where you've come from?

[ Come and discuss any doubts you have about wanting to return to your world, Wonderland. Maybe you'll make him feel better about the disaster he'll be walking back into if and when he ever goes home. ]

[There's a familiar face on the network, but it looks a little... battered. He acts as if he doesn't realise he looks pretty rough right now. Bandages? Nope. That would require a delicate touch and his delicate touch is "taking a break"...]

Lookit me, I'm back and conveniently located... not where I used to be, but the room looks the same, so whatever. I even found this [He holds up a stuffed squirrel by the neck.] in my toolbox, so same ol' same ol'.

Other than that, what've I missed?

Anyway, before you ask, Rogers: Yes. And, Everything. So that happened. We need to talk. [He holds up a rather archaic phone Steve will recognise and wiggles it back and forth for emphasis, then mouths the words "call me" in a mock-flirtatious manner.]

Stark out.

[ The network is met with a rather unimpressive looking man, and he seems a bit jumpy if the way his grey eyes dart around to any noises he happens to hear as he broadcasts. ]

I-I don't know how I got here. [ He's read the brochures, not that he's going to admit to that, or even being able to read just yet. It's unsafe to give strangers the inkling of being a highborn in a possibly hostile environment. Anyone familiar with Theon Greyjoy might be shocked at how easily Ramsay's anxiety and behaviour mirror the pirate's. Like someone awful took him for hostage as well. ] Or how this works [ He means the device. ] o-or if it even is, but I need to get home.

[ Sharon appears on screen, but it isn't Sharon as she looked before. No, she doesn't appear noticeably older than before, but she seems more relaxed, more confident. More capable, maybe. Although most people might only notice that her hair is straighter.

She leans toward the camera, her lips spreading slightly into a small, knowing grin. ]
So to everyone who told me things about home and decided to leave out a rather large personal detail, very funny. You know who you are. [ Steve, Wilson, Barnes. She especially means you. She doesn't think Wanda knows about the kiss, so Wanda gets a pass.

She leans back, her hands absently shuffling her notes and setting them aside. Her grin widens, though it lacks the confidence of her smaller grin. ]

To them and everyone else, it seems I've been out of the loop for... I'm guessing a week? What have I missed?

[ Nothing big, she hopes. Please tell her there wasn't more brainwashing, and that everyone she knows survived her absence just fine and are all accounted for. ]

Oh wicked, this place even comes with a comm system!

[ Look who's fresh out of the mysterious gateway portals and figuring out the method to best meet everyone all at once, eh? One very energetic Overwatch agent at your service, entirely too excited to be staring into a camera lens at the world at large. ]

Right then, hellooo Wonderland! Tracer here! [ Her first two fingers touch her temple, a jaunty little salute punctuated with a giggle. ] This is brilliant, isn't it? Out of all the pickles I've found meself in or travels I've been on, I don't think I've ever seen a place like this!

[ So many oddities! Mysterious self-populating dinner plates, closets that spit out whatever's your fancy, creepy masked fellas with odds and ends for sale. She's loving it and it is very apparent on screen, this slight woman practically vibrating to get into some trouble. ]

So what's all there to do then? Baddies to fight? Spooky caverns to spelunk? Pub runs?

As long as it's an adventure, I'm there!

[ He knew she was gone even before he checked her room. Just like he knew when Teddy was gone and Tommy was gone. But he tried texting her anyway, and when she was no longer in his contacts he went to her room. Even though he knew it would be empty when he pushed open the door, seeing it...it felt like someone had punched him in the gut.

He leaned back against the wall next to the door and slid down, staring vacantly at the empty room. He lost track of time, he wasn't sure how long he had been sitting there before he pulled out his phone and sent a simple text.
]

For those who knew her Wanda Maximoff has returned home.

[ With that done he picks himself up off the floor and heads to the one place he liked to go sit and think, the roof. ]

I think we're all in agreement to never talk about that event again. ^_^

Btw has anyone seen Alex? His room's full of stuff but he's been MIA...

[Which, to be fair, is not so unusual. She shoots him a text as well: "Alex if you get this call me. Or text." But as time goes on and she gets no response, she becomes increasingly worried.]

[ So Simone might have been keeping her eyes open ever since the lizard had shown up on the Network a few days past. One of the local Residents showing up often prefaced things going whacky, but despite being on alert for it.... nothing seems to have happened.

....Yet.

Which is why she's flicking open a Network feed from the bar today, her expression faintly puzzled as Joe takes care of a few of the customers they've got in the bar. ]

So is anyone else getting a sense of anticlimax or have I been I missing something interesting happening somewhere that's not here?

[ For the duration of the event "Simone's" responses will be coming from an alt journal at [personal profile] runnerthree ]
