+ The Mysterious Phase 3 +
I'm sure that since my last announcement post for this event, all of you are just waiting with bated breath to find out about phase 3. Tomorrow, the Red Queen will ICly announce this for the characters, but you player-types are getting this info a whole day early! Luckyyyyyy.
From Friday, March 28 to Monday, March 31, the Red Queen is throwing a party for the characters residing in Wonderland because, let's face it, her remodeling was a disaster and oh, yeah, Christmas wasn't that awesome either. So this is really the least she can do, right?
OF COURSE NOT. She is also inviting all of the Mirrors. During the four-day-long party, the glass in the mirrors will disappear, allowing all of the Mirrors and Real Things to pass from one side of Wonderland to the other freely. This also means that, unlike normal, Mirrors and Real things can be on the same side of the (missing) glass at the same time.
But that's not all. The Red Queen is also inviting (read: bringing in) unexpected guests! The 28th through the 31st is a Fourth Wall event. The OOC announcement is coming ahead of the IC announcement to give everyone time to spread the word.
"Kristen, what’s a Fourth Wall event?": I’m glad you asked that, random player. For those of you who have never been in 4th Wall event, it means that we tear down the "fourth wall" and allow characters from other games (as well as muns if you wish) to comment and play with the characters at Entranceway and/or their Mirrors. In other words, you make a post and then you link it around to your personal journal/plurk/friends who aren’t in the game/your mom and they come and play for the weekend. Or, alternatively, you spam people’s posts with characters that you aren’t playing in Entranceway currently. Or your personal journals even. IT’S GONNA BE ALL KINDS OF CHAOTIC FUN, GUYS.
But first we’ve got to put our mod hats on and lay down some rules.
→ Due to the sheer number of posts involved in this kind of event, we’ll have to ask that you make only ONE character post per character during the 28th-31st.
→ This is an IC Event, and will have mod plot attached to it, so characters will remember everything that happens during it.
→ Are 4th walls not your thing? Not a problem--just leave a note on your post saying you don’t want to participate in the 4th wall part of the event. If someone has such a note on their post, characters outside of the game and muns are NOT allowed to comment. For these characters, it will just be as though the Mansion suddenly had a LOT more people for the party.
→ Also to keep things as simple as we can, all Mirrors will post in the mirror community, no matter what side they are on, and all Real-Things will post in the main IC community, no matter what side they’re on.
→ Make sure you pass this post along when you tell people about the Fourth Wall event!
→ Only members of the game are allowed to make posts, but anyone is welcome to comment, unless the player has a note in the post indicating otherwise.
→ We will have a giant party log for the main celebration, and everyone is welcome to reply to that. Everyone is invited to the party, after all. This log will be posted on the 28th and we’ll provide a link to it in this post.
→ None of the guests will have Mirror characters. Sorry! You only have a Mirror if you live in Wonderland. We will only be acceptingmirroruniverse requests from players who are in the game already.
→ Apps will be closed for the event, for simplicity’s sake. You’re welcome to submit them, but they won’t be reviewed until after the event.
→ This event is meant to be fun, therefore using this event to harass anyone oocly about their characterization or anything else will not be tolerated.
→ This part of the event will last four days, from the 28th through the 31st. At the end of the last day, everyone who was not in the game before the start of the event will be gone, and posts made after the 31st cannot be commented on by non-Eway characters.
