+ And in case you didn't hear! +
AND THAT IS THE END OF EWAYMAS. Here's a recap, in case you've missed it due to the holidays!
The event began as any normal holiday event – overnight, the mansion decorated decked its own halls and provided many tasty treats for those spending their holidays in Wonderland. However, on the other side of the glass, something had gone horribly wrong! When the Queen of Hearts attempted to slay the Jabberwock, the Vorpal Sword broke on contact, proving to be a fake!
This meant an unstoppable, unslayable monster running rampant on Mirror Side while Real Side enjoyed their festivities. Real Side began to show some signs, however. The glass of the mirrors was splattered with blood, messages were left, and some Mirrors even ran over to Real Side, forcing their counterparts to endure the Jabberwock's attacks instead.
Soon, the Red Queen led the Real Things through to Mirror Side, via the Rabbit Hole. From there, many went to go fight the Jabberwock, and while the Mirrors were eaten like candy, any Real Things who were attack had all of their memories stolen from them – every last one.
While all of this was going on, the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts temporarily put aside (most of) their differences, and began scheming. On Christmas Day, they put a plan into motion. The Queen of Hearts lured the Jabberwock to the Core of the mansion, where it was shoved inside by the Red Queen. However, as a necessary precaution to contain the Jabberwocky, the Red Queen shut herself inside the Core as well, and took the Vorpal Shield with her1. When the fight was finally over, the Queen of Hearts ordered her Mirrors to return home and remade any Mirrors who were killed fighting the Jabberwocky, leaving an ominous and vague message for the Reals regarding the fate of their Queen.
1This log is still ongoing, so please be patient for the final tags of it!
And then some final notes!
That should be about it! We'll have a FAQ thread up here for any questions you might have (though probably mostly for fielding gift card questions, I suspect). We hope you all enjoyed this Ewaymas, and that you guys had a lot of fun fighting the Jabberwock! Hopefully the rest of your holiday season goes well, and have a happy new year! ♥

And then some final notes!
- The event is ICly over at the end of the day on December 25th, however we know that this is not a day when many people would be around, so you are welcome to post through December 26th for the event as well – think of it as a backpost amnesty day! By December 27th though, everything will be back to normal. As with any event, you're welcome to backtag forever and ever though.
- As of the end of the event, all Mirrors will have returned to Mirror Side, the mansion will stop pushing the festive holiday event food, and the decorations will come down. The snow, however, will remain for the rest of winter.
- Finally, I'll bet you've been curious about those stockings with your names on them throughout the mansion. They might seem empty at a glance, but if you look inside you will find a small, plastic card with picture of a Vendor's mask on the back. These are gift certificates and they are good for one, memory-free item from the Vendors. You heard me. One item, of your choice, from the Vendors, for absolutely nothing. The card is good only once and will vanish once you use it. You may use it for any item you would normally be able to buy from the vendors with your memories, and the big exceptions are no people, no specific pets from home, and nothing that will break the game to have (for example, if a Harry Potter character asked for floo powder to escape the mansion or if Once Upon a Time cast asked for magic beans or something, none of these items would work the way they are supposed to). If you aren't sure if your character can have it, ask! The cards do not expire, and they are not bound to a particular character (in other words you can hold onto it and hoard it if you want to, or you can give yours away to someone else, if you're so inclined). Conveniently, all of this information will be on the cards themselves, in very small print (just like any normal gift card).
