As Alice has predicted, there's an event this weekend! Welcome to the Unknown, Wonderland – you're more lost than you realize!

This event is set at the spooky dark tavern and things are going to be very cramped inside, considering the sheer amount of people in Wonderland. But at least everyone will be nice and warm and out of the rain! It will be dark and stormy and night for all four days, no matter what time of day it is. Also, don't fret too much about what time period your clothes are from – the Unknown contains a weird mishmash of MANY different time periods, so I would say anything from the 1920s and earlier is probably fine. Some characters might even be able to just have their usual selection of attire, depending when they're from.

Of course, people are free to go investigate the surrounding area in the terrible weather, but as mentioned in the event description this is not a great plan and is very likely to result in a mansion death for your character. No one who goes outside will ever see the Beast, beyond hearing his mournful melody, but he is there and he is waiting for people to wander into his forest. ♥

Finally, there's the matter of titles! Every character will be forced to go by a title instead of their name, and these titles are first come first serve BUT we are also allowing multiples. How? Let's use the title The Baker, just for a random example. The first character to claim that title will get to be “The Baker” and then if a second character also claims that title, their character will be “The Other Baker” and that is how everyone will differentiate between them in the event. If a third person wants to be known as a baker then they will be “The Third Baker” and so on and so forth. Two characters can also share a title if you'd like (for example, “the Newlyweds” or “the Brothers” or “the Twins”) and people will either refer to them together as a unit or as half of that unit (“one of the newlyweds” or “the taller brother” or any other way you can think of to specify).

The first comment after the FAQ will be for claiming titles! Please comment there with the title you want everyone to call your character, and I'll update the official list here! That way if someone has to refer to your character (even if they're not in a thread with you) they'll know what your character is going to be called for the event.

WIRT -> THE PILGRIM

After like an entire episode of deliberation on the subject, it is decided that Wirt (singloversing) is The Pilgrim! A traveler on a sacred journey, master of his own destiny, the hero of his own story!

Philip will be The Late Professor, since that's got a better ring to it than The Weird Telepath Who Has Been Here Too Long And Dies Too Much.

He is probably going to venture out into the forest at some point, but he'll see the seemingly never-ending trees and hear the song in the distance, and he'll figure '...nope, never mind', and turn back around to spend the rest of the event drinking comfortably in a corner, thank you very much.

He'll probably also pass quite a bit of time working in the kitchen, because it's there and he might as well. No exciting plans otherwise, so hit me up if you want a thing!

Tony Stark is The Mechanic. He won't find the title too odd, as he's gone by "Tony, the mechanic" before, but it might strike him as a little odd that he can't actually say his own name. Or the names of his team--even though, he'll just be flabbergasted that he can't call Steve "Cap" rather than "The Captain". How dare you foil his nicknaming, Wonderland!

Anyway, he will find himself stuck in late 1800s fashion that, well, looks something like this. He will probably end up passing out somewhere through the event, since he's been up for the past several days anyway. Just, keep him out of the kitchen.

If anyone wants anything with The Mechanic, let me know, 'cause I don't really have anything special for him this time around.

Mikan Tsumiki will be The Nurse, obviously. She'll stay inside and be very very nervous about the fact that she'll be around people ALL THE TIME NOW.

So Nageki will be The Ghost. He won't be very happy about that. While it isn't a secret, it isn't something he really wants to introduce himself as.

Also, being trapped in a tavern with everyone else is going to irritate him, so he'll probably end up venturing outside at some point. He's normally good at recognizing danger (not to mention his previous experience with someone who collected lost souls), so I'm not sure if he'll end up getting lost or not yet. If he does, he'll end up consumed by dark thoughts and turn into a tree. If not, he'll probably spend most of the event trying to stay near his friends.

Mystique will be The Nudist, which she's going to spend about 0.2 seconds being embarrassed about only because people have to refer to her by it. She'll be bumming around the tavern and taking note of everyone else's titles. She's slated to have a flirtatious time with Isabela, but she's 100% open other than that!

Bobby will be The Handler, and may or may not end up wandering outside at least for a bit. Other than that, as his title implies, he'll want to be managing the efforts of anyone who might be doing rescuing.

True to his title, Bobby is also going to be trying to keep Selina Kyle from going out and getting her little butt killed. 8D

Sam is The Hunter and Robyn is The Warden and they'll both be doing the opposite of what they did during Ewaymas... AKA, they'll both be in danger. Both are likely to try and Save People, so if they see people going into the woods (or think someone has gone into the woods), they'll head in to look. With both being comfortable with forests and monsters, they'll be in trouble unless they find some to escort back out of the woods to safety (for both parties) or have someone come and retrieve them. If not, I guess one or both will become semi-permanent parts of the scenery. :')

Snow, the Director, is sensible and knows better than to go into enchanted forests. At most, she'll be on the outskirts of the woods, closer to the tavern, but will mostly be trying to keep people from killing each other inside. She may also end up making dinner for some because she's a mom and falls back on those instincts, sometimes.

Ellie, whose title is the Survivor, will be living up to her name and also not going into the dangerous trees. She'll be pissed off at all of the loud and annoying people crammed into the tavern since she isn't used to so much company and may pace or mutter to herself just outside the building. Mostly, though, she'll be keeping to herself and making faces at the particularly rowdy people.

Raleigh is The Jaeger which means something very different to him but in German it simply means Hunter. He's new but quick to act when there's a danger - especially when someone is in it. That being said he's reckless, unpredictable and liable to put himself and others at risk to help the person who needs it. Ideal party mate for forest rescue missions Y/Y

He needs CR! And knows next to no one. He's a champion arm wrestler and an obnoxious, dance on the bar top, college girl drunk. That being said he's just as quick to a fight and Beckets always finish what they start.

Evelyn is The Scholar, which means she is a ravenous consumer of academia, primarily of the historic and linguistic varieties. It is this professional curiosity which has gotten her (and will continue to get her) into trouble, as she has the tendency to read cursed books pry for information and get into materials she shouldn't.

Will very likely find people in the Tavern interesting, but is also a compulsory adventure-fiend for the sake of knowledge and has the tendency to get into trouble, and may eventually sneak out of the Tavern to do a little exploring.

The Pilgrim is Wirt and he'll be flipping out because this is definitely from either him or Beatrice (and probably him because she was stuck outside the tavern the...whatever this place is called the whole time). He probably had his suspicions as soon as Alice mentioned a Beast, but was too uncertain to actually say anything about it at the time. Since it's his event he'll feel responsible for all of this and he'll be trying to summon up the nerve to explain to people why they shouldn't go outside. There will definitely be an open thing for this. Also, if anyone he really really really cares about ventures outside he...might be stupid enough to run after them. He did in canon, after all. So, we'll see how that goes. He's not getting an outfit change because he already dresses like a grandpa.

The Charlatan is Stan, and he'll shrug it off until he realizes that he can't call himself anything else either, because the cardinal rule of conning people is never admit to anything. He's getting an outfit upgrade because I can't resist. He'll probably spend most of the event complaining about the situation. He won't feel the need to leave because obviously when Wonderland says there's a beast outside you stay the fuck indoors until the event blows over but it's VERY possible he might need to go and save someone (/STARES AT DIPPER AND FORD) but we'll see how that goes and if he winds up saving anyone at all. Maybe they won't go out! Maybe he'll get lost in the forest looking for them and wind up dead! ~Who knows what'll happen?~

One of The Lovers is James and he'll be trying to keep everyone in good spirits. He'll be terribly amused that he gets to share a name with Lily and he won't be running out after people until someone he really cares about is dumb enough to go, but either way I'm not looking to kill him again just yet so all of his event stuff will be lighter dumb things around the Tavern.

Faith will be The Murderer so that all her lovely baggage will be out in the open. The first person to call her this that isn't Angel, well. You'll be in for a ride. Depending on just how much this wrecks her she may run off into the forest to do some atoning...

Jane is going to be The Girlfriend because most people who know her name know it by Thor's mention, and she's developing a bit of a complex about that. Without her equipment, I can't say that she'd be interested in venturing out to her death, so she'll just be annoyed the whole time, mostly.

Alex is The Puppet which is a far more revealing name in terms of his role in his canon than he'd be comfortable with. Feel free to poke and prod and generally try to figure out who exactly is/was pulling his strings.

What'll he be up to? Well, he'll be investigating the woods, of course, because anything with the title of The Beast is a) right up his proverbial alley and b) unnervingly similar to shit he's dealt with on the regular back at home. Maybe he'll need saving, maybe he'll turn back before he walks straight to his doom. Who can tell?

As for his appearance, he'll be in a nice, simple, era-appropriate black suit and tie.

Sharon is The Agent, and she's going to do her best to keep you kids safe from the beast. That goes for kids 110 years and younger. She will stay inside for part of the event. Otherwise, she will be hunting down the people who are hunting down the beasts.

Morty (onetruemorty) is going to be The Fool through the event (with a convenient image for his outfit).

Morty potentially makes a good candidate for: either side of the rescue-from-the-woods schtick, arguing about whether or not to go outside, and awkward yet friendly helpfulness (very genuine in intent). He's got a more anxious personality, so longer holdouts against the forest won't be his deal. But Morty's got a way of being really resourceful on the fly that might come in handy with some plotting. He's pretty likely to try arguing with people who want to go out into the forest, so he could also potentially follow someone out from sheer stubbornness. Or the cramped quarters/indoor shenanigans might get him a little stir-crazy and end up driving him out.

Soos (doods) is The Handyman (probably going to be wearing something like this??).

Soos makes a good candidate for: potential rescues, trying to put people at ease, and overall willingness to assist! He'd be pretty content to go with the flow and hang around in the tavern, since that's where the bulk of people will presumably be, and helping people is a Thing Soos Does. On the other side of the helping coin, he's also the type to volunteer to join search/rescue parties and the like really easily. He has a natural cheerful and optimistic disposition, so he could make a good addition to forest-combing partnering-ups, even if only to drag half-frozen people back to the tavern. I definitely plan to avoid killing Soos during this event.

I don't have concrete plans set up for either of them yet!

Darcy Lewis:

Darcy is going to be The Intern because that's her canon title, she'll also be rocking some late 1800s garb and being freakin' adorable the whole time. She'll hopefully have the shot gun for .5 seconds before one of the adults takes it away from her. She's still pretty down about Bucky leaving, but Wonderland doesn't stop just because people are down in the dumps. I'm not sure if she'll be going outside yet, but if she does she'll definitely die. So, someone's more than welcome to keep her inside.

Ruby 2.0:

Ruby's new title is going to be The Hellbringer because she legit brought Hell to Earth via using Sam to free Lucifer from his cage. Ruby is going to be dressed in something she's not gonna enjoy due to its impracticality, but at least the jacket's nice. People are more than welcome to ask her about it, figure now's as good a time as any to get it out in the open that she's a demon. Whoops? She won't be going outside, thank you very much, although she won't be doing much to stop other people from their own curiosities... Just point her towards the booze.

I have no real plans so far! Kaneki is The Hybrid and he's going to be hungry by the end of the event. I have no plans for him to do anything untoward, but if anyone wants to plot with that (like keeping him focused on not eating people), I'm up for it.

Souji is The Banchou, which I explained in my comment on the titles thread. I am happy to have him explain this title ad nauseum as the event progresses, should any confusion arise about it. :3 He will be happy to cook for people using the tavern's kitchen!

Emma is the Savior. Don't worry, she's used to it. She'll try to help people who go missing but I'm undecided about how far she'll venture out.

Max here is gonna be The Subject, which she'll explain by saying it's because she loves to take selfies. While that's true, it's definitely not the only reason!

She won't be heading out in that bad weather, though she will be worried about anyone who leaves, and will tell the "superhero" types about it. If no one is looking for people that have left (which I doubt!) she may just head out herself.

Other than that, she will be a wallflower and enjoy watching people's antics, occasionally taking pictures. If there's a shaded portion right outside the tavern, she'll occasionally pop outside to get away from it all.

Bubblegum is going to be The Princess for obvious reasons and lol she won't even question it this is normal for her. She also won't change outfits and probably won't go outside for very long, though she might try and do some scientific measurements. It'll be tricky without her equipment though.

Dipper is going to be The Pine Tree and stuck in adorable period clothes (though he'll still have a pine tree on his old-timey hat). NEEDLESS TO SAY he will be pissed off for so many reasons, which is probably why he'll charge into the forest and have his second Wonderland death. BURNING THROUGH THEM PRETTY FAST DIPPER. ....I'm not 100% decided on the death thing, but ahahha. It's exactly his kind of bad choice.

Beatrice is going to be The Guide which will give her mixed feelings but it could be worse! She'll be telling anyone who wants to go out in no uncertain terms that they are idiots. Obviously she is already dressed for the Unknown since she is from there.

For this event, John Blake will be known as The Dark Knight. Anyone who already knows him will know him by this title, but don't expect to hear him saying it much himself. He'll be more reserved and watchful during this event, but I encourage anyone looking for some CR to come at me, especially anyone looking to follow up AFTER the event!

So Belle will be going by the totally expected title "The Beauty". Much like the naive beauty from the fairy tales, she's going to go out and explore the woods, trying to find the beast.

Selina is going to be The Thief, much to her dismay. It gives her away and is going to make pick-pocketing in the close-quarters so much more difficult than it needs to be gdi. She's going to be tempted to go outside, and will make an attempt, but will be stopped by one Bobby Singer. Other than that though, she's open to plotting--especially if it involves her trying to steal from your characters.

Hiccup will be known as The Viking and will also be curious about going outside. What if the beast is a dragon? He could help it!! However, chances are he'll be smart and stay inside, knowing that with Wonderland, chances are it's not a dragon. So he's pretty open to plotting too, if anyone wants him!

Finally, Carolina will be The Leader, and she'll be doing what she does best--keeping people safe. If she sees people looking like they're about to sneak outside or something, she will try to step in and stop them from making a stupid mistake. Needless to say, she'll be seated at the bar, close to the door. If anyone needs someone to stop their character from going out, Carolina's here!

And well, as this will be his first event since his arrival here, he's going to be smart about it and stay inside close to his best friend "The Samurai" so they can stay alive and maybe, since honestly I OOCly want to volunteer him to, help keep people calm or stop them from going outside.
