[A bright eyed eleven-year-old appears on the network, along with his politest smile. He gives a little wave, then clears his throat. Though he's not someone anyone would have seen before, being a new arrival, he doesn't look all that lost. In fact, with his little fancyboy clothes, he's clearly trying to give off a good impression.]

Hello, sirs and madams and, um, everyone else! I am Angus McDonald, my world's greatest detective. I've already done my part investigating Wonderland and its many, um, I guess you could call them features, but I thought I might like to interview some people. To, um, get a better idea of the details within the big picture. I just have a few questions to start:

Number one, who is the person who has been here the longest, and how long have they been here? Also, has anyone left that was here even longer than them? Lastly, my information on the Mirror side is lacking. Could I speak to anyone that has been over there?

[He gives a big cheesy grin to sign off.]

If anyone has any other interesting information that might help crack-- crack this place wide open, um, feel free to offer it! That is all! Thank you!

[What can I say, Souji has child radar.]

There are two people who have been here longer than me, and I've been here almost six years.

Six years! Golly, sir! That's a very long time!

[That's over half Angus' entire life!]

Well, uh, in that case, sir, would you mind if I asked you a few questions?

[It is almost a third of Souji's life!

He shakes his head at that question.]

No, you can. You can call me Souji, too.

Alright, Souji, sir! Then, can you tell me, how has Wonderland changed since you first arrived here? Everything you can remember is fine!

[He takes a moment to think over his answer before speaking.]

Most of the changes haven't been permanent. Once Wonderland ate the Queen of Hearts and Alice was the Queen instead, but eventually the Queen of Hearts came back and things went back to normal. There was a Red Queen, the one from Through the Looking Glass, for awhile, but she eventually disappeared.

[He pauses, considers, and continues.]

The way things work never really changes for more than a few days at a time. But sometimes physical things change and stay that way. There's a lake now, and there wasn't one before.

[Angus is definitely taking notes in a little notepad.]

I see, I see. Is Through the Looking Glass the title of a novel?

[As far as he's gotten, he's gotten some hints of Wonderland being similar to a world described in a book, but wouldn't know the first thing about that. He's not one of the people in his world with magic fourth wall reference-making powers.]

Was there anything leading up to the formation of the lake? Any hints, or anything out of the ordinary that you noticed?

Through the Looking Glass and Alice in Wonderland are both books that seem to describe this place. They're by an author named Lewis Carroll. They might be worth looking into.

[Souji's not sure how easy or difficult it will be to find them, but if all else fails, the vendors will be able to hook Angus up.]

Bill the Lizard built it, it seemed like. He made it sound like he was asked to, but I don't know who by.

I see! I will have to conduct some further research into these books, then!

[There is a library he's already looked over a little. It's very large, though. He might need help finding them.]

If he was asked, do you think it might be by the Queen? Does she have that kind of power over this side?

[He has to consider that briefly.]

It's possible that it was her. But I don't think it was. She doesn't like us enough to do something like that for us.

I see...

[He writes another note down.]

Do you know anything else about Bill? Who he generally answers to, what kind of power does he have over Wonderland... Anything at all like that?

He builds things and fixes things. [He frowns slightly as he tries to remember.] He fixed the stars once, after they all fell.

Oh, so he's like a construction person. That can... make lakes.

[Well, there are manmade lakes. But Angus is probably right in his assumption that this is more magical in nature than typical construction.]

Alright. I think that helps a lot. At least, it's more than I was able to put together. Well, thank you for your help, sir. If you think of anything else important, feel free to call me.

Sure. I'll see if I can remember anything else and then let you know.

[A beat.]

It was nice to meet you, Angus.

Oh! Of course, um, it was very nice to meet you, too, Souji, sir! I'm sorry if I was being rude! When it comes to mysteries, I've been told I can get very... Well, I mean, sometimes I sort of have a, a one track mind.

Don't worry about it. I have a friend at home who's like that too sometimes. Do your best.
