[Peridot is still picking at the sides of her tablet like she can pull it apart with her fingers if she tries hard enough, face scrunched up like she's expecting Lapis to be hurt. It's not a good feeling. She and Lapis have come so far, but there's an unyielding guilt within her that says she messed up in being kind, which is strange and a slap to the face of everything she learned from Steven.
