So, as you've vaguely heard from Princess Alice, there is a new event for this weekend!

This event is all about different tropes and cliches, which means of course that I need to link you all to TV Tropes, if you need any ideas. The setting of the scenes the characters are trapped in does NOT need to have anything to do with the character's canon, or even be recognizable to them. Feel free to make your wizards spunky lawyers and your fantasy heroes into bad cops walking slowly away from explosions or whatever comes to mind.

So use this post for plotting! What kind of silly roles are they going to wind up needing to fill? And what horrible things will happen to them when they don't play along? And as always, if you have any questions, the first thread will be a FAQ.

Okay so I am not sure what tropes exactly I want to toy around with yet but I am up for anything and everything, especially if those things make Clara's life difficult in any way. I'll probably hit random on tv tropes and see what I get and we can work things out, or just make things up as we go along. Whatever floats your boat, I'm just so excited for this.

Sooo I think that since I want more threads with you I'm going to suggest that clara and owen get involved in some sort of...really awful and horrifying something or another idk yet my brain is tired maybe like a horror type thing.

Toothless is going to get stuck on a commercial for "Baby Dragon Scale Relaxer", and he'll look a little like this. Yes, he's going to be very grouchy. And wiggly. ...and bitey. If your character wants to be the unfortunate one stuck with trying to administer the cream and end the commercial, lemme know. Otherwise, NPCs are gonna be running around trying to catch him for a while. And he's also going to be Scooby Doo in another scene. But if you'd like to involve him with anything else, I'm game! He'll be able to fill that niche animal requirement.

Gabriel, in addition to forgetting the word for what he used to be (awkward), has been avoiding feelings of guilt about the other angels, so I'd like to play with that, I think. He's also going to be very pissed off about Wonderland stealing his shtick. Maybe an awkward family soap opera where he has to talk about his feelings? I don't even know. Come at me, angel sibs. Or anyone else who wants a piece of the guilty cheese.

Scarecrow will be stuck in a really embarrassing High School Show. An awkward one, because he killed the two main leads (the prom king and queen) at his prom way back in the day. Oops. They're going to ream him until he admits that he did it.

I don't have many ideas for tropes yet, but I'd love to have my characters end up in tandem with other people in scenes (especially Ange who knows no one and has not been told what events are yet).

I do know Kirigiri will be trying to take notes, as usual, so something ridiculous needs to happen to prevent her from this goal as often as possible. I'm thinking as many shades of magical girl shenanigans as possible. The more frilly and sparkly and cutesy the better. C:

Crime drama! Where she ruins the interrogations and screws with the natural order and Bad Things Happen.

B Grade Horror Film! Where she ...doesn't run away and instead kicks butt (or maybe tries to) and, you guessed it, Bad Things Happen.

Some kind of Pseudo-Star Trek/Star Wars where she can be all spacey and FLY THE GODDAMN SPACE SHIP when no one else can and yay dumb heroic tropes AND NOTHING HORRIBLE HAPPENS?

All ideas, and I am hugely welcome to suggestions if when people come up with better ideas than these okay?
