001; Voice//Text
[Angeal is recovering nicely, much to Zack's insistence that he not do anything. However, he has opted to keep his post to just voice- There are still bandages needed for his back, over where the wound from his wing is, would be something he isn't intrested in talking about, at least right now.]
Wonderland, huh? This is quite the place. I suppose to many, this place has taken them away from their homes. [A pause, and he seems to consider how to put this delicately, the right way.] But to others, like myself it is a second chance of sorts. Another chance to make things right, another chance at life...
[He chuckles, a soft noise as a smile catches on his face, small but genuine.] A chance to get some sense of penance, to start over, and do the right thing.
[Now that he is convinced that it could be possible, even for a monster like him. If the others could find it in them to forgive him, then perhaps he may be able to find it for himself.]
But for the others... why do you want to go back? What is waiting for you? And most importantly of all, how can I start to help?
[After checking with Zack for a brief moment to make sure that these devices worked much like their phones, he composes a few private messages to send out to a few people he really needed to reach out to.]
[Genesis:]
I know you are here, don't shut me out.
[This one takes even longer to write out, considering that the only thing that keeps coming to his mind is 'I'm sorry'- A sentiment that is not meant for a simple text.]
[Sephrioth:]
Can we talk? Zack might let me up for longer than a few minutes now.

action;
It's irrational and silly; of course, he knows that. It's not something he can help, though, so he keeps it to himself.
Returning from the diner with a sack lunch, he knocks before opening the door. ]
Hey. [ He goes to set the food on the bed stand. ]
Brought you something.

He owes Zack more than that, at least.
And he had stopped in once or twice, sitting in vigil while Zack did whatever Zack needed to do, a promise to his lieutenant to keep a careful eye on his charge. Angeal had not woken in those brief times, and Sephiroth had not tried to wake him. But recovery had come, nursed by Zack's careful hands, and Sephiroth is not surprised by the text message that flashes across his screen a few moments after Angeal's voice is heard.
He chooses to respond in kind.]
At your leisure.

I might not even have a home to go back to... if going back "home" means going back to the situation I was in... I'd rather stay here, events and all...

[Even when he begins typing, he's not certain of what to say much less what he is saying. He just knows that he has to say something before too much time passes and the opportunity is missed. Or he blinks and realizes this is all some kind of cruel apparition.]
You're here. That in itself is a great place
to start. I think it helps a lot more than you
realize, or it will with time.
[He stares at that for a while. It seems terribly short, but sentiments like, 'I've missed you' and 'I'm glad we're all reunited again' seem better left coming from Zack, if they should come from anyone at all. After all, Kunsel was never as close to Angeal as he would have liked to have been. He mostly admired the 1st Class SOLDIER from afar. And so, it continues to feel like the appropriate thing to do.]
[He sends his short message and...sits back and waits.]

It's enough to grab her attention, especially since he goes so far as to offer his help even though he has nothing waiting for him back home. Martha wonders if he might be good resistance material, but she'll need to have at least one conversation with him before offering up that information.]
Some of us still have work to do back home. People to take care of, as well. If you don't, though, then it's even more admirable that you'd offer to help so readily.

[Private to Angeal.]
It's not like he doesn't have experience with Zack carting him around while he was too sick to move.]That's the right attitude. [Cloud finds Angeal's persistence admirable. But what else can he expect from a hero?]
I have a family...and friends. We just started to build a life together. [In the ruins of so many battles.] I didn't want to leave them.
