[Still not having learned his lesson about showing his face, the feed starts and immediately gives its audience a view of a helmeted face. Despite all the questions he gets about it, he still doesn't even think about it before starting the video.]

So I'm sure this has been asked before. Probably a lot, actually. A lot of you might be sick of answering it, even, but I'm curious.

[That's a good way to start one of these things, right? Let everyone know they'll probably be bored by what's coming? That'll really draw people in.]

How long have you been here? And what's the longest someone's been here, if anyone knows? [His head tilts just slightly, giving him an inquisitive look. However, his voice flattens a little as he continues.] I'm just kind of looking for an idea of how long I'm going to be here. Though with this place, I'm betting the amount of time varies too much for any sort of pattern.

[He'll just huff over that for a minute because man, he'd love for there to be a pattern or some clear schedule to this sort of thing. He hates the disorder of it all so much.]

[ It's funny, because out of everyone in the mansion, the Doctor is probably the last person who should be responding, since he hasn't been around for very long at all, but there's a lot about this transmission that intrigues him, so he can't help but answer. ]

Well, I've heard of at least one person who's been here for months, but I'm not one of them. It's been about a month for me, give or take a week.

And from what I've heard, no one knows how long any of us will be here.

I've been here almost three years, but there are a few people who have been here longer.

[Souji waits a couple seconds, then adds:] From what I've noticed, most people stay between six months and a year.

Three years, before I went home. I've been back for a couple months now.

It's...getting close to a year for me, actually. Jeez, I hadn't even thought about it. I know at least one person has been stuck here for several years, though.

[Abby expression is an odd mixture of curious and solemn. It's an odd look but one she manages to wear well.]

I'm curious about this too. Not about how long I'll be here [she has nothing but time] but how long is the longest someone's been here. [A pause.] And if anyone they know showed up here after them, to tell them if they were considered missing or not. [She's worried about Owen and how he's handling her absence. The boy needs someone to watch out for him. Namely her.

Abby pushes away the thought of her familiar and flashes a small, sweet looking smile.]

Would you mind sharing the information once you get some answers?

I have only been here a couple of months, monsieur.

[So really, just long enough to feel stupid about the mistakes she's making.]

I believe people have been here for years. Or they might leave and reappear.

it'll be three years for me in april.
but to make things even weirder, i went home and came back once.
so when i first came here it was from my 13th birthday, and the second time it was my 15th.
so uh basically i don't know how old i actually am.
but it'd be cool if i could just round up to 18 and like
bang all the chicks and vote all the elections or whatever it is you do when you're eighteen.
