♇- VIDEO -♇

[She had only just gotten back from another trip to the stables, having taken Sagitta for a good morning run. Her hair was still a mess, even in spite of the ponytail she had thought to pull it into. She didn't care, shaking out the wild curls the moment they were free of the band. Fingers absently running through them as she hummed a nonsensical melody to herself. Mind a whirl with everything that had been happening in her life recently.]

[She didn't see it at first. The writing on the mirror. Red as blood, ink still dripping down the smooth, glassy surface. Glistening in the light. It wasn't until she fully turned around that the Roman demigod saw it in full:]

[Her dyslexia being what it was, it took some time for her to decipher the message. Her name. It was...her name. Only backwards. Slowly, she took a step towards the mirror. Then another. Her hands tentatively reached out, just barely grazing the mirror's surface.]

[Nothing.]

[The writing was behind the glass.]

[No sooner did this realization come to light when the entire surface went dark. Completely black. She pulled back with a start, instinctively falling into an offensive stance. Wishing desperately that she had her spatha with her, battle instincts kicking in to asses just about anything and everything in the room that could be used as a potential weapon.]

[But there was no attack. Only a second message.  Slowly being scrawled out in the same bloody manner as the first.  The words were backwards, of course, but in Latin.  Words only
she would be able to understand]

[The color drained from Hazel's face.]

[Her hands were shaking. For a girl who had seen the heat of battle...who had faced Death in almost every way possible...it took a lot to frighten her. Something that any who knew the young girl would recognize instantly.]

The Mirror. I saw... ["myself". Because that didn't make her seen completely insane.] It was me, only it wasn't. And she said...she wrote...

Whoever's idea of a joke this is, stop it. Now.

((ooc: Most replies will come from Hazel, but depending upon the converstaion...her Mirror might see fit to make a few additional background written commentaries. Just saying.))
