[ magic has only recently become a word that allison has become comfortable with. a word that actually makes it into her vocabulary outside of books or exasperated eye-rolls. she's friends with james poter, has seen wonderland shift before her eyes. has died and come back to life and died again. magic is the only solid reason she can find, the only explanation she can give, and while she understands the reluctance to believe it, it's true. or at least - partially true.

and she gets it. he's obviously from a place or time that's dangerous, that's prompted him to react like this when faced with something he doesn't understand. while she'd assumed it was a prank (stiles and all) he assumes it's an attack, and she can work through this. she's dealt with worse (a lie). ]

I don't know your sister. [ she's not lying. she can tell he thinks as much, but she's not. her eyes are immediately on the knife in his hand, her stance solid, ready to react if he moves first, but she'll push the talk until that point- her eyes going back to his. ] Or your brothers. You're in Wonderland, like the books kind of Wonderland, and you were taken out of your world and brought here.

[ is she talking a little fast? maybe. but she's trying to get it in before he has time to decide she's crazy. ]

Just like the rest of us. This whole place is full of people who were kidnapped and brought here and are now stuck. [ her hands slowly rise, showing him she's unarmed (or at least visibly so). ] There's nothing to play into, I didn't do anything.

[ but she will if do do something first, as proven by the calm sort of tension in her shoulders. she looks relaxed, but ready. a solid force. ]
