Family can withstand anything, I believe. If you seek forgiveness, I think you can find it there, rather than anywhere else.

I have...four generations here. Just about. As well as those most of us have learned to forgive, no matter how awful their mistakes. [ most of them, though she's not sure she's considered part of that 'most' just yet. working to get there, yes, but there? she's not so sure. ]
