Y-Yeah! Uhm, so everyone has a s-soul, but human souls can, uh, e-exist after the human d-dies. But monster souls c-can't. But uh, since human souls a-are, uh, more solid-- they have more physicality, w-which is why they don't immediately dissipate after d-death-- they can't, uhm, u-use magic. Because t-they don't have the space in their soul to, uh, hold it. Monster souls are l-less physical, so we can c-create magic! Besides, monsters aren't n-nearly as strong as, uh, humans, a-anyway. Most monsters d-don't have the will to, h-hurt anyone, and we c-can only do real damage if we, uh, w-want to hurt people.

I hope, uh, t-that makes sense. I didn't want to get, uhm, t-too complicated, about it.
