Nate is well-equipped to deal with weird monsters that appear out of nowhere (as much as any regular human can be), and he'll be doing a lot of exploring. Any "dark" motivations will manifest themselves as an unwillingness to be communicative, a desire to pick fights, and suicidal recklessness turned up to 11. Kinda tempted to have him lose a life? There needs to be some serious violence, and preferably not by a creature. hmu

Evelyn will be present, unsurprised by Hell, definitely surprised by the Cthulhu-like entity because wow since when did we get Lovecraftian horrors?!?! She will arm herself with whatever she can, with the intention of staying close to others and helping to protect them. "Dark" tendencies will similarly be argumentativeness and extremely rash decision-making.
