[Rebekah has been able to get from room to room with better efficiency than most -- it probably helps that she can't die and she has supernatural speed on her side. still there are a few (or many? it's hard to tell) close calls and she remembers being stuck in a coffin drowning over and over again, unable to do anything to stop it. water would fill her lungs and she would choke and she would die and wake up and do it over and over again until Elijah finally found her in the bottom of the ocean. needless to say, this event has left her a little on edge and the closets aren't providing her any blood which means she's going to need to feed on someone sometime soon.
It's with all this in mind that she runs into Fitz. She had seen his message on the network but hadn't bothered responding. Mostly, she's trying to locate her siblings and the few friends she has here. Or that boy who let her feed on him when they were stuck in hell. At least this is a familiar face, she supposes.]
Someday we'll have to run into one another when this place isn't messing with us, assuming that's ever true.
