[Redglare is greatly disappointed in a very many things now that she's returned. Mostly with herself past actions and how stupid her overwhelming confidence seems now that she's dead because of it. Or perhaps it wasn't so much overconfidence as her underestimation of Mindfang. For all that Dualscar had told her subjuggulating employers, he had failed to mention her manipulation prowess. Redglare's own desire to show off to the low-blooded masses that ALL were susceptible to Justice, that they were not the only ones who had to pay, was what proved her undoing.

Of course, she isn't willing to tell anyone this. It's stupid to display all of your weaknesses to the public, so instead she greets the fed with a smile.]

Well well! It seems I've taken an unwarranted and unannounced leave of absence due to the mansion's interference. You have my sincerest apologies, and I'll be sure to file the correct paper work.

[She mock-sighs and presses the back of her hand to her forehead.]

Not that anyone would care, disregarding the law as you all do so very often. You know, [And at this she sits down and crosses her legs, propping her arm up on her knee and cradling her head in her palm.] It's almost disgusting how so many individuals across all universes try to enforce the law for the safety of others and, in the end, it all comes to nothing so very often. It's just such a fucking shame, worse when you think of how many simply don't care.

[There are people who have done worse jobs at coping.]

It comes to my attention that I've neglected to document the events here for some time.

What has happened since I left the building?

Not a lot. It's only been a couple of weeks.

Some weird things happened with the garden, but I don't think it was a normal event.

[Immediately suspicious. Events are one thing, happenings in the mansion that have little to deal with memories are another entirely.]

Oh? What happened? Did the weeds grow out of control?

Not just the weeds. The flowers started talking. And they did weird things to people.

[Redglare reaches to the side and disappears or a moment. There's a sound off-screen, like the open and shutting of a drawer and she comes back with paper, a quill pen and an inkpot. She starts writing immediately, gesturing with a hand for him to go on.]

[Souji is really curious to see what Redglare's notes look like when she's done. Really really curious. He might ask someday.

For now, he'll go into more detail, since she's bothering to record it at all.]

I didn't talk to very many of them. One of them, a white rose, gave me a picture from my world, or a replica of it. I talked to some daisies and I could only sing until I left them alone.

[Redglare mutters as she writes, a forse of habit and a way of double checking what she's doing.]

So... mementos and singing. That's rather banal, but one can never disregard this place or anything it does.

What was the picture of?

It's a picture my cousin gave me, of her and her parents before her mom died.

[A pause.]

I think some people turned into plants or bugs...

Were all the gifts that sentimental? I suppose it was worth missing then, lacking sentiments as I do.

[A pause.]

That's mildly interesting, considering the hypothetical situations one can imagine occurring due to it.

[He's not sure about that lacking sentiments thing, but he doesn't bring it up.]

People's sizes changed, too. Or got sick. I think it depended on which plants or bugs they talked to.

Sounds fun. It's almost regrettable I missed it. Not as much as it was missing the gruesome murders that went on, but you can't have everything.

Except justice, which someone will be getting plenty of soon.
