[Have Lindsey wonderland. He looks more then a little tired, someone was up late reading.]
When did you realize your tolerance for the unusual and strange was maxed out?
Also... I feel like there needs to be serious re-organization of the welcoming committee. Including but not limited to updating that pamphlet, making it readily available, and a census maybe? something so that we know who's here?
[If pressed, he'd explain that between Will Graham and the worries of everything else and everyone else, it would be a nice idea. Never mind that it could always fall into wrong hands.
Would fall into wrong hands.]
...I guess I'll take charge of that, but I could use some help...from people who've been here longer.
[Private Message to Jesse.]
....You're a good guy man. Will you let me buy you a drink or something? nobody...should have to listen to me complaining.
[Action; open to anyone/abby]
[It's a day or so after his post and Lindsey is drunk. Very drunk, sitting on the steps somewhere in the castle with his guitar. Occasionally he strums a few notes but he's not really playing anything. He's just sort of staring at the ceiling.
No tears. No emotion.]

[As for the census--]
Talk to Tohru about the census? She has a book up in the diner with names and photos of everyone here.
[Video]
[Ew work]
I didn't even know we had a diner honestly, but thanks. The whole thing seems a little hap hazard.
[Video]
[She smiles a tiny bit, giving a shrug.]
It's on the eighth floor, almost as soon as you hit the hallway from the stairs. I recommend it. Food's good.
Re: [Video]
...A lot of people don't seem to know you know?
[Video]
[video]
But hey, enough time has passed since St. Paddy's day that he's ready to give a drink or two a shot again, sure.]
...Sure. Yeah, I'm down. Meet at the bar, or what?
[video] -- > [action? handwave?]
--> action
[When Lindsey makes it to the fifth floor, Jesse will be there, perched on one of the stools and drumming his hands against the counter.
...He'll also be blessing the bar with a gravelly, half-assed, acapella version of "Fallacies".]
--your eyes burn like daggers duh-duh-duh--
[You're welcome, Wonderland. You're welcome.]

video;
I grew accustomed to the unusual long ago, Mr. Mcdonald.
Re: video;
Accustomed here?
video;
This place does keep us on our toes, but my life has never really been a.. customary one, so to speak. [Just not normal.]
You've been here for some time. People learn to adapt.
Re: video;
You know what the problem is with adapting here? I'm bored. I've just been reading.

perma-action;
It should be a little concerning to find Lindsey with vacancy lights all but lit up in his eyes. Will does stop to wrestle with indecision around the corner, a hand at the back of his neck; he looks like he wants to be alone. After the past week Will probably should leave him alone except for the tug somewhere deep in his center that doesn't like leaving people in distress.
Corner rounded, Will tries to keep his guard all internal. ]
Lindsey? Hey.
Re: perma-action;
Or perhaps that's just the drink talking. The drink and people staring pointedly at him. He doesn't look up when Will approaches. There's a pause then he tilts his head and stares]
...Hey man.
No more scales.
[He smiles tightly] How are you adjusting?
no subject
Sounded like you could use the warm up. [ His tips the bottle against his leg. ] And got started without me.
[ Lindsey's an adult; Will doesn't have much right or reason to get this disquieted over someone he's met all of one (intense) instance. So he shrugs with a little bit of forced casualness. ]
It's, uh, it's fine. Between people being afraid of me and me avoiding them, there's been little settling to be had. Hence the quiet evening plans.

Oh god have I heard worse.
So I'm not really inclined to judge you man.

action
When she's close enough to smell the alcohol, she's glad she decided to find him. Staring up at him from the nearest landing, she's silent, still, unmoving. She isn't sure what to think about this, not yet. It's clear she's reserving judgement. Her tone is quiet. Not quite hesitant but definitely carries a touch of uncertainty.]
Hi there.
Re: action
Hey girl. It's good t'see you. I've been ...
Looking for inspiration.
action
But she isn't really worried about the fact that Lindsey's drinking. Everyone needs to unwind in a place like this and, besides, he's fully grown and isn't in any real danger.
Well. It's Wonderland, so he could be in trouble at any given moment, but the odds are slim of something happening tonight. And if he does, she's here now. She'll make sure he stays safe.
She smiles.]
I'm glad to see you too.
[She moves up the stairs on silent footsteps, stopping a few steps away.]
How long have you been sitting here?

His expression clearly dazed.]
Lovely.
Re: [Action]
Nah, it's probably terrible and I'm probably super gross at this point, but if I were more put together it might be.
[He stares at her a moment longer, dazed before he plucks out a quick cord, a well played scale.]
[Action]
You should give yourself more credit. You're appealing in more ways then you imagine.

[Evelyn likes to keep track of things, and it was Mark Meltzer's idea in the first place.]
Re: text;
text;
We're trying to get concrete responses from people on where they come from, more specifically, so we can follow the patterns and see what the geographical trends are.
Perhaps you could help us speak with more people to keep track of their origins?
