[Natasha's not all that fond of making public appearances in general, not unless she has reason to, but it could end up being useful here and she can admit to herself that they could really use as many contacts as they can make. Steve had already sent out one of these but it couldn't hurt to introduce herself as well. Probably. Her reputation wasn't quite as... spangly as the Captain's but maybe she'd be lucky and be an unknown here.

So, being new here, I guess introducing myself should be a thing? I'm Natasha Romanoff and I'm still trying to wrap my head around most things I've had explained to me so far. Thank you, by the way, those of you that helped with that. It's certainly been an enlightening few days, to say the least. Any helpful advice you can toss my way would be appreciated, as would introductions since I've heard there's quite a few of us stuck here together. Thank you.

So it's true then, that people are kept here for so long and no one has discovered a way out yet?

I'm afraid it is true. No one's found a way yet. Sometimes people do disappear and return home, but it isn't by their own choosing. It just happens.

And there's no rhyme or reason to any of it? Or at least not a pattern anyone's picked out?

None that I'm aware of. It all seems very random.

Well, I suppose it is Wonderland. Maybe that's the only pattern we get.

It's a book, where I come from. A children's tale, sort of.

Yes, I've read it as well. Of course, I often imagined what it'd be like to live one of many book adventures, but I never thought I actually would.

Books were your escape?

Yes. I would read all manner of books.

You can imagine my excitement upon coming here and then meeting people from the books I read! It was like a dream.

Are there a lot? People from books, I mean. That's one of the things I'm still trying to wrap my head around.

I wouldn't say a lot, but there are several.

They don't see themselves as from books, though. They're just from another universe; same as we are.

No, I can't imagine that's something that comes up often while they're off having adventures.

Depends on the person? Some seem to adapt quite easily.

I'll try and stay optimistic then.
