[Locked to Resistance Notebook]

[On Tuesday, a short message of some urgency appears in the Resistance Notebook, in a familiar formal script.]

ATTENTION: Fort Dixon-Potter will be occupied on the night of the full moon each month from now until further notice, from sundown until sunrise. Please spread the word so that no one needlessly puts themselves or others in danger. It is of the utmost importance. If circumstances change, we will inform you as soon as possible.

The next full moon is tomorrow evening. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

[And, on the off chance that someone feels the need to attempt to use Fort Dixon-Potter during the full moon the door will be locked from the inside, even if they have the password. Considering the ban is to keep a werewolf from running across the grounds and being a danger to himself and others, that's probably for the best. For one night a month, it's likely worth it.]

[Despite the obviousness of it all, he feels the need to be at least vaguely cryptic until (or unless) Remus makes it to the notebooks himself. Everyone can see every response, after all.]

I don't think I've ever met him.

[He knows Remus has been there, but he's never managed to make that happen somehow.]

Huh. That's odd. Then again, Wonderland can ever seem to hold on to him for long. Probably for the best, really.

[This is at least Remus' fifth trip to Wonderland now, as far as James knows, and he's never managed to stick around for more than three months so far.]

It seems like it's the same for Sirius.

He's got a better record, honestly - but you only met him that one time, didn't you? Last time he was here?

[And that was sort of a disaster. Let's not go there. But a thought occurs!]

That's right, you haven't met him this time around! I can make that happen again - he can see all of this actually.

[Ah, the wonder of the resistance notebooks. And then, in large letters:]

Oh, I see. We're making introductions. (Does it ever get strange that you have to do these more than once?) I'm the Padfooted Sirius in question. It's a pleasure.

I haven't written this much since McGonagall's last essay.

I see you've figured out wish number one - I'll get back to you on the others. (And it is exceedingly strange every single time, yes, thank you for noticing).

Anyhow Sirius, this is Souji Seta! He's taken very good care of me in your absence. He is a friend and he also makes a excellent curry! And Souji, this is Sirius Black - again. My best mate from home! You've heard all about him, of course.

And don't worry Sirius - if your hand falls off from the pain of writing so much, I'm sure we can get Lily to reattach it. Probably.

Of course there were deer involved. Once James picks a motif, he rather sticks to it.

I'm sure the pigtails were lovely on you, mate. Just have to wear them with confidence, and perhaps having just shaved.

I wish I could say it was the first time I'd been in a drag pageant. But it was easier to have fun with it the second time.

Unfortunately, both times I was signed up unwillingly by a friend. James.

Ha! Serves him right to have to do it himself, then. Might suggest that if you're not into the drag thing, you might want to avoid 1) places throwing pageants and 2) friends like James.

Of course, I probably fall under that category of friends, so I can't endorse that second idea too much.
