+ Welcome to Hell +
As Tweedledee and Tweedledum announced rather unhelpfully, there's an event on! It will last from Friday, 12/2 through Monday, 12/5.
Let's go to a hell dimension! Quor'toth is survivable, but along with nonmagical technology being rendered unusable there (guns are the main example though that is the extent of the explanation), it brings out the worst in people because it's just so dark. Its gargantuan Old One is also its namesake, and has a particular talent for squashing love and compassion. He literally will suck the life out of the world.
Within the landscape of the dimension are myriad awful things that can kill you: from flying molerats to acidlava pits to overgrown demon badgers. The residents of Wonderland would wake up in a settlement where a small nomadic species had set up huts among the cover of leafless trees. Here, the residents will find the remains of food and cover. If they huddle in for the duration of the event, they might find themselves relatively safe, even. They'll also find the remains of the little society's idol, Connor the Destroyer. His image is drawn and displayed in nearly every hovel, adorned in the skins and body parts of the monsters he had slain, like a dark creepy Shiva-Jesus.
The name of the game is to survive the mental effects of the dimension while also figuring out creative ways to survive without technology.
OVERVIEW (who doesn't love lists and links?)
→ DEMONS:
→ SETTING:
→ EFFECTS:
One last note: deaths during this event count as Mansion deaths. Anyone who dies will remain dead until the end of the event.

OVERVIEW (who doesn't love lists and links?)
→ DEMONS:
- Think of an animal, make it the size of a human or larger and make it nearly impossible to kill. Naked molerat tooth fairy, for example. Or angry demon dino-badger. How about giant chompy beetle? Fanged rabid kangaroo-ram? Large boney stegosaurus with tentacleface? Don't forget actual freaking Quor'toth, the Old One who’s sucking the life out of everyone while it slumbers underground.
The anomalous friendly demons will be red Jar Jar Chewbaccas that are actually kind, helpful, and a little dim. It's their settlement the residents woke up in, but they've since moved on to settle elsewhere. They can be found by anyone wandering beyond the edges of their abandoned homes, of course.
→ SETTING:
- [ 1, 2 ] Barren; withered trees grow in copses, backed by sharp cliff facades which acid rivers run through. In short if no demon kills you it’s likely the setting will.
→ EFFECTS:
- Residents' darker tendencies will slowly rise to the surface, but it's something they would be aware of and can combat / apologize for as it's happening. Modern technology gets rendered unusable -- magic is fully opertaional though, so fortunately, that leaves the network usable.
One last note: deaths during this event count as Mansion deaths. Anyone who dies will remain dead until the end of the event.
