video/action;

[Souji is, surprise surprise, in the di-- Actually, this time he's in the kitchen. For a change of pace. He's got the device propped up on something so that he can talk at it hands free. Sitting in front of him is a piece of the rainbowiest rainbow cake a person could possibly make.]

Today is my sixth anniversary.

[He nudges the cake a little toward the camera.]

So I made cake. There's plenty of it, so I'll leave it here in the kitchen in case any one wants to have some.

[With a smile that seems quite tired, he shifts the cake to one side, and glances after it. With his gaze still cast away from the camera, he asks:]

How long have you been here? Do you want to go home? [He looks back at the camera again, his expression more thoughtful than tired now.] I'm kind of...doubting myself in that regard.

Oh my. Six years. I know many talk of years, but I hadn't truly thought about how long. Are you the longest stay here in Wonderland then? Do you know?

[He can't help but to be curious.]

It's only been about six months for me, but honestly I don't mind being here knowing that my life is waiting for me. If I can help here for a time, then so be it.

But we have no idea why some stay for years and others barely months. Interesting. I wonder if anyone has tried to do a chart to try and track why some and not others.

Not that I think we'll find out but curious nonetheless.

In general for the most part. I left creatures behind I worry for. As for the future though, I've learned a bit about my own and it's fairly promising.

Do items leave when a person does? Otherwise it could be left or even made in an open room or a public one and then left for others. Unless, of course, items generated by a person leaves when they do.

[At least it's something to think about.]

There have been some here from my world who have the book I'm writing now as a textbook in their school.

So then, maybe, we would make it something for the general populous and not belonging to any one person. Perhaps then, no matter what, it might stay.

[It certainly couldn't hurt, not if it might help those in the future that found themselves in Wonderland.]

The people that told me where James Potter and Remus Lupin. My name is Newt Scamander, and apparently eventually I publish a book about magical beasts.

I believe in documentation being a key to learning how things work. Not to mention allowing others to learn as well. Perhaps it can work in this world as well as I hope to make it work in mine.

[That makes Newt smile brightly.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Souji. James' world is my own, and he truly seemed to have enjoyed his time here. Some have told me that there are books that talk about a time beyond James and Remus' but I've yet to look for them.

Some have told me I should try asking the closet for them. I'm not sure I feel comfortable with that. How much of the future of your own life should a person know?

[He isn't sure that is healthy for anyone's well being.]

[That definitely stuns Newt. No one has truly talked to him about this sort of thing beyond the books existing, and he thought of them like biographies so far.]

I am uncertain about what video games are entirely, but how could someone turn your life into a game?

Oh. Well. I... That's not even right. I hadn't thought about the books I was told about that included James' world, but now I do have to wonder. I just assumed they were like the one they told me I published but...

[He shakes his head, actually bothered by the very idea, for both James' sake as well as Souji's.]

So ... I mean is it possible that someone from this world, from Wonderland, are writing our stories out and publishing them in other worlds?

It makes sense, but that doesn't mean I think it's acceptable. Or even logical but then Wonderland rarely is.

To be utterly honest with you? I'm not sure I consider anything to be impossible anymore. Even coming from the world I do, I see so much that is part of Wonderland that I couldn't imagine before.

Though when speaking of things such as the books and this game you spoke of, I have to wonder. If they have access to our separate worlds, why not access to release such things?

Merely thinking out loud. Just considering that if whoever is behind this place can take our memories, why not take them and then turn them into books and video games in other worlds?

I am most certainly with you on that. I tend to spend time out in the gardens and woods, exploring and so I thinking about these things.

Not sure I'm certain any of them are real, but the thoughts come.
