I keep meaning to do this, but, then something else turns up and I forget about it.

I've been here for almost a year now. Or longer, depending on when/if we've met.

[That's not the point she's trying to make here.]

Anyway. I've seen how unprepared some people are, which is fair, considering how a lot of these events catch us off guard. Still, if anyone wants to learn some basic defensive fighting techniques, or, how to handle a gun, I'm willing to teach you.

Not that it always does a lot of good here, but, better than just sitting on my ass waiting for the next event to happen.

Kind of? I'm not qualified, but, I think I did okay.

[She wasn't Lincoln's sole trainer, but, she helped him out.]

But you are knowledgeable in self defence?

Yeah. It's what I was trained for. Well, partially.

I have never yet been in a situation that required me to defend myself. Given the events that I have already seen here it seems as if it would be useful.

Doesn't hurt to learn regardless. Never know when you might need to break someone's thumb, or worse.

Hopefully that would not be a required outcome. Though if you are training others I would like to learn -- as a precaution.

Yeah, well, sometimes it is. That was hardest thing for me to get over. Actually having to hurt someone. When it's you against them and your life is at stake though, you kind of have to forget about that.

[She was very much hesitant in the beginning. It almost got her killed.]

Easier to when they've already punched you in the nose.

I'm not certain if I will be able to.

Though to protect someone else it may be simpler.

You kind of have to let that go. Otherwise you'll never be able to keep up with it.

[It's why she didn't take it too seriously in the beginning. Getting shot kind of puts it into perspective for you.]

I'm not certain. I've yet to meet anyone else that also existed as I did.

[Because Daisy has a pretty strong imagination and she's probably not right with any of her assumptions.]

I was integrated within a timeship.

A time ship? Like something that travels through time?

[Isn't that what Doctor Who is about? Fitz and Jemma tried to get her to watch some episodes a long time ago.]

Correct. I was created in the 22nd century.

So because you didn't have a body they gave you one? That seems kind of messed up.

I'm not certain if a physical presence would be possible otherwise.

Did they make the body for you? Or is it even creepier than that?
