So much for autonomy. [The man on the camera smiles cheerlessly. He looks the same as he normally does, except his distinctive tattoos are gone.]

I figured out one of your secrets so you spirit me away here? With a bunch of dinosaurs? I didn't choose to leave which makes your actions blatantly illegal. [His voice grows louder as he speaks and his anger shows. There are so many people who he's angry with; the Grand Chaser for betraying their city, his original country for their well-woven lies, and himself for believing what he was told.]

Might as well openly declare war now. I will find the whole truth and expose it for all of Sakia to know. No matter what. We'll see what happens when everyone knows what a farce your agreement is.

Guess they like where they're coming from better. Not having Central Government's fingers in the place is a strong point in it's favor for me. I've still got my memories, too.

Is losing your memories common at home?

Us migrants had to let Central Government erase our memories before we could go to Sakia so we can't just fall back on old habits when things get tough. Though it seems like some instincts are still there even without memories. We still have plenty of crime.

Nope. I know I chose to go there but I don't know what my other options were.

It didn't until recently. [Kay had almost immediately set a goal for himself and set about achieving it back then.]

[His wanderings have taken him to the kitchen. Convenient.]

How safe is the food? [He can manage without food if he really has to. If he's stuck for any length of time, though, he'll have to eat eventually.]

Someone I trusted in the Ancient Library is cooking the books for Central Government. And if they'll go so far to manipulate us now, they would've done it back then if they had anything to gain.

[The problem Kay runs into is that he doesn't know what Central Govnerment has to gain from manipulating Sakia now.]

Kinda. 'Course, there's not much I can do about it here. I was working on a chip that would've given me more information, but I left it behind in Sakia.
