[Souji's been feeling reflective lately, thinking over some things. It's elicited a question that he himself isn't sure he can answer. He wants to find out if others can, so, after some deliberation about whether or not it's a good idea, he takes to the network to ask.]
If you were able to change something in your life at home, what would it be?
[He's not sure he'll even get any answers. It's kind of a personal question. But he's hoping that some people will respond, if only to help him think through things himself.]

[And Jason has tried, so.]
audio.
[A beat while he considers that in application to his own experience.]
But is it really pointless to try?
audio.
audio.
[Of course, it's all relative. He gets that. But for some people, there must be a reason why it's harder than for others.]
audio.
audio.
[About him being murdered, not about not being murdered himself.]
audio.
audio.
[He has, in fact, been murdered, but it doesn't really "count" to him, since it happened in Wonderland and not at home. It didn't have a hugely formative role in his life. Still, no fun.]

audio.
Yeah. It's not real common like it is here, but it happens sometimes.
audio.
audio.
You’d think so, but believe me, it’s not.
audio.
[Maybe it's something that can't be explained.]
audio.
OK ... imagine this: you're sixteen, and you end up dead - killed, because you made a dumb mistake, and really, that's probably what's been waiting for you all along, no surprise there. But then, you get brought back, and it turns out that the people you loved, the people who were the most important to you, they didn't care that you were killed. And the lunatic who killed you is still running around, ruining lives like he always does.
[He took me away from you, and it apparently meant so little to Bruce that he did nothing to stop the Joker from repeating his actions.]
That sound like anything that would be a comfort to you?
audio.
[Somehow, he can imagine it, even if it's quite far from his own experience with the people he loves himself.
He gives that a few seconds, because it was a pretty personal confession and he wants to give it the weight it deserves, before shifting gears a bit, this time in hope of alleviating some of that weight.]
If being brought back isn't normal, how did it happen?
audio.
audio.
[He's hoping it was someone who cares about the guy, but the way Jason made it sound, there aren't many of those people around.]
