[ When Claire appears on screen she is tense and no-nonsense, her hair pulled back. She's in the clinic, a cabinet with medical supplies clearly behind her. ]

Good morning. In light of the announcement made by Alice last night, I thought I would inform you all of a change made to each floor. Before I do, please note that this does not A) guarantee that the mansion will stay in its usual form when things happen or B) promise that all stores of supplies will remain intact if the mansion does change.

[ Which leaves her feeling a bit helpless as a doctor; what is she supposed to do when Wonderland takes everything away from them? It's as if it truly wants them to suffer at times. ]

After creating a supply room of sorts on the second floor and stocking it, I waited from the first of the month to now to see if it would stick. It did, with not one item missing, even during the event two weeks ago. I decided to at least try this for the times magic simply will not work and abilities are dampened along with the closets. There are quite a few magical volunteers and medically inclined people, but there are over a hundred of us residents. We can't always be everywhere, especially during the chaos.

On each floor, as close to the stairs as I could possibly manage, one room has been set up as a medical supply closet. The first-floor main clinic will serve its purpose with no additional supply room. In these rooms, you will find bandages, elastic wrap bandages, slings, medical tape, gauze, splints, instant cold packs, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, antiseptic wipes, antibiotic ointments, cotton balls and swabs, disposable non-latex gloves, medical scissors and tweezers, a thermometer, syringes, medical cups and spoons, eye wash solution, and finally, hand sanitizer. There will also be a guide to help with basic first aid, along with instructions on how to do CPR and the Heimlich.

[ Claire finally takes a breath and her face softens a bit. ]

I'll put my concerns as plainly as possible. Many of you are my friends or acquaintances. I don't want anything to happen to you but this is Wonderland. Each event that has an announcement preceding it makes me worry. This may be all for nothing, or it could help. Utilize it if you need it, please. I'll check regularly to be sure supplies stay well stocked. If you have inquiries or concerns, you're more than welcome to let me know.

[ She pauses and lets out a soft breath. ]

It feels paltry. Especially knowing the entire place may decide to disappear at any moment and from now on any time it likes.

[Minato would check off everything on the list. It'd be best to perhaps keep those supplies on hand anyway even after the war. Events could do a number on all of them.]

Maybe we can have smaller first aid kit bags that we can keep close or on our person?

[It wouldn't be as good as a supply room, but it might not disappear if the mansion decided to do so instead. Then again, Wonderland could change them physically too, but maybe less likely so for this war?]

That would be good for anyone helping with medical assistance. I'm not sure we could convince everyone to keep medical supplies with them at all times, though.

A few of us having them should be okay. If it's war and the Mirrors are involved, I would think their Queen would want them to have all the magic they can get.

On a mirror near the back of the clinic, three words are written in a neat hand.]

[ Claire's putting away linens when she sees it, and she pauses with cloths in hand as she stares at the writing. A mirror has never contacted her before. She wonders if it's her own or someone she knows before realizing they can probably see her standing and staring. So, she steps to the closet and retrieves a dry erase pen (and eraser) before lifting her hand to write back, pausing, then going for it. She's sure to write so that the mirror can read it the right way. ]

We can. Who are you?

[Ah, wonderful.

He doesn't watch her until she replies, but not needing any sleep means he's there when she does. His first question is quickly wiped off.]

[ She lets that stay, then writes below it. ]

I suppose we'll see if the same can be said of meeting you. What can I do for you?

Of course you have no reason to trust me. I'm not offended.
I doubt your experience of us has been pleasant.

[They aren't all bad. But so many of them are.]

I wondered if you might have any supplies to spare.

[ Claire erases her previous answer and now she's just curious, frowning slightly. ]

You don't have the same benefits of the closet on your side?

[ She didn't realize this was the case; she assumed they lived a life of getting anything and everything wanted on the other side of the glass, living life event free. ]

( Jamie's no steady hand with needle and he's no' so good with blood but he's always willing and able to help Claire as much as he can. It might not be much, sometimes, but he does try and he hopes it's helpful to her. )

Do ye need any help organizing or something? I cannae help ye with the doctoring but ye know I don't like to see ye working alone.

[ Claire smiles softly at the video. He's getting better at this though she switches them to private before letting herself sag just a little because she is truly exhausted. ]

I think for now I'm all right. Alice kept speaking of reapers and reaping. Unless we're all to be turned into field hands for the duration of an event, I hardly doubt being reaped means anything good. It felt urgent to finish this so it's done.

[ However, Jamie's offer is not for nothing. ]

What I could use is a massage of my shoulders. Would you happen to know anyone willing to take up such a task?

( Unless reaping has to do with a scythe and a field, Jamie has no reason to think it's anything good. It's for the best Claire's prepared so well. )

Aye, I think there's someone who might be able to rub your shoulders. Anything else?

Perhaps just a dashing man to come and walk me home. Could you find anyone to do that?

[ She asks with a teasing smile; it's not always she requests such things, but she's worked so hard on this and she misses him. Plus, with an announcement just passed, she'd rather be with him than alone. ]

( Jamie has never had any trouble at all finding time in his day to walk Claire home and certainly not since leaving Wonderland and coming back older (and not necessarily wiser for all that). He laughs a little and nods, pretending to think about it for a moment. )

Well, what might be in it for me if I managed to walk a lass home this evening?

[ Leaning forward, she grins slyly at him in through the video feed. ]

Well. I might be persuaded to give you a very hands on thank you. I do seem to remember - turtle soup or not - you being quite impressed with my grip.

This is very informative - and methodical! Thank you for putting the time in to keep these supply rooms well stocked.

This is just me thinking far ahead into the future, but these rooms will also be a great deal of help when the war happens in a couple of months, I would imagine...

That's actually what spawned the idea. Whatever may be coming for us, I wanted to be prepared as far in advance as possible.

[ And if nothing does happen on the scale they're all fearing, well, then, they have the supplies for events going sideways. ]
