it took me a really long time to decide what was happening here but IVE FINALLY SETTLED, SO

Shepard is going to be an agent of Tillie, a high-ranking and very decorated chevalier that's become somewhat of a known name among the Grand Game just for being so hard to pin down. She was originally a commonfolk human girl, but her claim to fame was holding a line against a great battle when the rest of her unit had fled, and it's gained her status through the ranks for years. She's mostly known in more hushed tones by those who play the Game as the Phoenix- if she can be kept quiet, kept dead, she's of no problem. But if she's wronged, she'll rise and burn you at the worst of moments.

While she's good with her words, and very diplomatic, most of her showing here is a sign of strength on Tillie's side and the opportunity to show up in menswear with a sword and dare someone to say something about it to her face. She'll be eating, drinking, and keeping an ear to the ground for anyone who needs a good smack- a duel is a great party trick, and the ultimate stance to get rid of someone who maybe she's seen murdering elves and Maybe She Wants To Stab A Guy.
