[Kayo appears on camera, holding a rat in her hands at quite possibly the worst time anyone has ever held a rat in their hands. In her defense, he's a little white rat that doesn't appear to resemble the ones that are running around melting things.
She leans in and holds he right up to the camera, and he sniffs it curiously.]
This is Shiro. He's my pet rat. He can't melt anything.
[Now that everyone's gotten a good look, she lowers her hands and lets him crawl into the front pocket of the pink hoodie she's wearing.]
I'm going to have him with me so the other rats don't hurt him. Don't kill him.
[She has a thousand-yard stare with that sentence, and an implied "or else" even though she's just a young girl with not nearly enough self-defense lessons under her belt to make that claim. She kills the feed with that and ends the PSA there.]

[It makes sense, but it's also the most interesting way she's heard of anyone dealing with the rats.]
Is it hard?

No, no they don't. You're right there.
But the fire isn't hard for me anymore. The first few times it was, but with practice it is much easier. Does your world have magic?

Course, then things like these rats happen but I think it's worth it.
