+ Panic? No One's Panicking. +

[ The Gryphon, today, is flying in circles around the mansion, swooping down low, looking down with a keen eye before rising up again, doing more circling, and finally landing on the roof. ]

It cannot find them. Not those.

[ He paces, a paw rubbing his forehead, monocle falling from his eye so that it's hanging by a chain. ]

When It does, what we are, what we exist to be could cease and I personally do not care for it!

[ That ends on a screech, mostly. The Gryphon is agitated and pacing, muttering to himself. ]

Four of six is bad enough but It won’t stop until--

[ The Gryphon stares at the camera now, too close and just out of focus. ]

Find Time. You must do this. Guard your Minds. Keep yellow and green. I am not sure what It will be or do. We should not find out.

[ A sound akin to frustration escapes the Gryphon’s beak as his wings flap. ]

It will not stop, but you must fight or...

[ He doesn’t know. Only that it will be Not Good. ]

...It will only take a Snap.

[ She folds her arms over her chest, her resolve weakening for the first time since the message came up. The timing of all of this doesn't sit well for her, and worse, Steve is still trying to pull it together from just coming back. Watching him go through all of this again is going to hurt. ]

I'm going to get some weapons out of the closet in case they stop working. [ Assuming they'll even be able to keep them. She can only prepare so much. ] Steve, I know this isn't the best time to ask, but are you going to be able to keep it together through this?

[ She can't pick up super soldier slack, but she can at least try. ]

[ He’s slowly slipping back in to Captain America mode and he doesn’t even realize it yet. It’s how he deals with things like this. The mission first, Steve Rogers second.

He nods, putting his device down since his conversation with the gryphon is done. ]

What other choice do I have? Weapons are a good idea, maybe things for traps, barricades. We don’t know what’s coming but if it’s what I faced before we are going to need defenses.

[ She sees that mask go up, but only because she does the same. For as gentle and compassionate as she can be, in her job there comes a point when you can't let yourself feel it too much. You have a choice. You either let it flow past you, or you let it harden you. She decided long ago she didn't want to be hard. ]

I'm right here. [ She moves towards him, putting her hand on his arm gently. ] I'm going to be right by your side the entire time. You're not alone.

[ He'll always be Steve Rogers first, at least to her. ]
