[The kid on your communicator gives you a big, easy grin. He waves. He's got a baseball shirt on with a great big yellow smiley face in the middle. He looks like he walked out of High School Musical -- absolutely oozing wholesomeness and brightness. Also, his head is a completely normal size.]
Hello, Wonderland! My name's Dib! I'm sorta new here, so I was wondering if you guys had any tips and tricks -- life hacks, you know? For getting used to Wonderland.
I already know about the mirrors. Apparently, mine is really depressing? I heard he goes around in black all the time and talks to himself, mostly about things nobody cares about. Sounds like he can be pretty annoying! If you see him, you should just pretend he's not there till I get back.
[He grins! It's cheerful!]
Anyway, that's it for now! Dib out!
[He waves, like he just can't wait to get to know all of the great people here in Wonderland.]

[A much less cheerful boy, who has been here much longer than his mirror is trying to pretend, has gotten away from his mirror's accomplice for the moment and is frantically banging his fist on a mirror.]
That's not me! He's an impostor! You've got to believe me. I'd never dress like that! Or say 'life hacks!'
Come on, somebody let me out already!

If you know about Mirrors, you should know that's an outdated way of looking at them. They're not our enemies, and with the new rules in place they don't even have to be strangers. How'd you get to know yours so well so quickly, anyway?
