Well, that didn’t go as planned!
According to the Red Queen’s broadcast, the Vorpal sword was not enough to slay the Jabberwocky. It rose up again, seemingly invincible, and now the Red Queen is nowhere to be found.
So, good luck with that! But don’t worry - Wonderland is going to try to help out.

According to the Red Queen’s broadcast, the Vorpal sword was not enough to slay the Jabberwocky. It rose up again, seemingly invincible, and now the Red Queen is nowhere to be found.
So, good luck with that! But don’t worry - Wonderland is going to try to help out.
A few things are going to happen:
- The glass that separates Mirror Side and Real Side will shatter and it will remain shattered through the entire event. This means that Mirrors and Reals will be able to freely cross from one side to the other without switching places. Unfortunately, this also means the Jabberwork will be able to easily cross sides as it pleases. Deaths will count as mansion deaths.
- Weapons will be provided. As you know, ordinary weapons simply don’t stand a chance against the Jabberwocky, but Wonderland has left some rather interesting loot drops for people to find. In a fit of desperation, Wonderland has made copies of the Vorpal Weapons to help people defend themselves and others. Those who can sense magic will be able to tell that they are not ordinary weapons, and that the magic behind them is similar to the magic Wonderland exudes.
- Vorpal Sword: It is a long sword that is meant to be wielded with two hands. The Vorpal Sword is said to be able to slay any enemy; however it does not seem to be properly slaying the Jabberwock this time. It will cause damage to the Jabberwocky though, and will allow someone to fight against it more effectively than with other weapons.
- Vorpal Shield: It is a large shield shaped like this. It can defend against any attack, and is the only known object to be able to fully withstand a blow from the Jabberwock. Despite looking heavy, anyone who picks it up will be able to use it to defend themselves.
- Vorpal Yarn: This is a small spool of glowing white-ish golden thread with a number of different uses. In combat its primary use is for healing wounds, even those dealt by a frumious beast like the Jabberwocky. Unlike the other items, each spool of yarn is only good for three uses, so make them count!
- Finally, somewhat less helpful than the other things, the Core of Wonderland is going to leave its room on the fifth floor of Mirror Side. It will be wandering around Wonderland on both sides, hiding in random rooms and other dark enclosed spaces it can claim for itself (tree trunks, boxes, suits of armor - anything hollow and dark). If the Core is hiding somewhere, it will emit a glow from the edges of its hiding place. If you open it, it will steal a LARGE, IMPORTANT memory this time. Something will happen in exchange and the consequences will last beyond the event, so if you decide to do this please contact the mods via PM so we can fill you in.

back in your court: Bill IC and me OOC are trying to figure out what the Jabberwock wants!
like, obviously it is EAT. but more specifically! eat wonderland? eat everyone in it? eat the vorpal items? eat all of the above? what next? why hasn't she done it already? what's holding her back from just eating ALL THE TIME? what happens when she runs out? why does she have to live in the dream side instead of out here, where the snacks are? is there something that happens when everything is eaten? etc etc etc
then bill will like. offer concrete help with that more specific goal, probably

Is it okay if Bill tries to possess the Jabberwock in the present day thread and then fails? I accept whatever IC consequences this brings down on him.
THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT WITH ME I'M HAVING A LOT OF FUN
