As the Dormouse has said (in his vague sort of way), there is an event this weekend! More details can be found over on the Bulletin Board but this one is pretty much what it says on the tin! A couple really quick notes though:

• The inside of the mansion will be a safe space at first, but by the time all of the dinosaurs are loose a lot more things will probably get broken. Nothing will be repaired until the end of the event.


• For anyone wondering, these are not feathered dinosaurs - they're the more classic representation.


• All deaths are mansion deaths. You know, in case anyone wants to burn one of their last few deaths getting eaten by a dinosaur.


• There will be a quick poll in the comments regarding whether or not we should do an open log for this event or just have everyone make their own posts, so please check that out and chime in! If enough people would prefer one I'll make one, but if I don't hear back from people then I'll default to not posting a mingle log and just letting everyone do their own thing.

And that's about it! As always, there will be a FAQ thread for all your question and answer needs, and this post is available for plotting. Are your characters going to go seek adventure? Or will they try and wait out the event and avoid becoming dinosaur food?

So, the last few events have had a mingle log, but we don't always default to them and my kneejerk reaction was to not do a mingle log for this event, since I usually do them for complex AUs or events contained to one location.

But, there are also fewer of us now! So I wanted to know if anyone has a preference. If you guys would rather have a mingle log, I'm totally willing to make one. So, what are your thoughts, guys?

I don't personally have a preference either. Consolidating everything in one log is nice, though, with the network available, it makes as much sense not to have one, honestly.
