How does Bela Talbot deal with a mansion-wide crisis you ask? By waiting it out. She's pretty much come to the conclusion that going outside is a bad idea and as long as she stays in her room on the tenth floor, she's safe. The last thing that Bela wants to do is to turn into stone or suffer some other horrible fate.
What is also helping her to cope is a good book and a glass of wine.
She's curled up on her bed at the moment, the book in one hand, the glass of wine in the other, completely engrossed in what she is reading to notice this scene being shown to everyone. It's late in the evening and she's already in her pyjamas (tasteful and classy of course) and Bela looks completely at ease.
Someone should interrupt her quiet time.

Oh. Well, she could recover quickly.]
No, I believe that 'this' is my winding down time and you've just interrupted it, Mr. Barton.
[He is right though.]

[He's amused, if slightly.]

[A beat.]
What makes you think there's going to be a next time?
