+ Life is but a dream +
I'm sure you noticed the Twins' announcement! So here are the details.
When people wake up on the 15th, they will find themselves caught in a memory. It can be any memory, from an important moment in life to an afternoon spent playing video games. But these memories are off just a little, and characters will be repeatedly struck by a sense of deja vu. As the scenes continue, characters realize they've done this before--had this conversation, performed these actions, etc. Some people will figure it out faster than others, but it can take awhile to convince others of this.
Once the character realizes the situation, he or she can then move around more freely. After a little exploring, characters will find they aren't alone. A number of other residents are with them, and so are those residents' memories. See the randomized groupings below to find out who you will be starting the event with!
As people meet up, the scene will start to change as different peoples' memories meet and blend at the edges. What was their room where they were talking to a friend might turn into the friend's house that burned down years ago. Characters can wander around the scene and will find that it changes according to what they're thinking about or talking about or remembering. Of course, this results in the Mansion quickly turning into a huge mish-mash of worlds, landscapes, buildings, and rooms, some features of which may defy the laws of space (such as walking to the moon along the branch of a tree).
Scene changes such as this are mostly subconscious, but some characters may find it possible to consciously alter the landscape. (For instance, thinking "There was a staircase here, wasn't there?" and confirming that memory might result in the sudden appearance of a staircase!)
Eventually, characters will find that they can leave the "bubble" they've been stuck in. It might be difficult to do, but because reality inside the bubbles is a conglomeration of the memories of its occupants, common points of memory can provide the path to other bubbles (so prior CR and the building of memories with other characters will be essential in moving around!). When a person leaves a bubble, he or she takes his or her memories along to be integrated into the new bubble, therefore simultaneously changing reality in the bubble being entered and the one being left behind.
If that wasn't confusing enough, the last few days of the event bring one more change. If characters wander far enough, they'll find themselves running into alternate versions of themselves, all of whom are dead. These AU characters are limited to those characters currently in Wonderland, and can be based on canon alternate timelines or the player's ideas of what might have happened if a significant decision or action in the timeline had happened a different way (a Mark Melter whose daughter didn't disappear, a Once-ler who decided to listen to the Lorax instead of ruining everything forever, an Arisato Minato who chose to kill Ryoji on 12/31).
To make this a little easier to follow, here's a schedule rundown:
Day 1: Characters relive memories, realize they've done this before, look around for and find other people within their assigned group.
Day 2: People continue to interact with people and their memories within their assigned group, and some may begin to move between bubbles.
Day 3: All people are able to move between bubbles and are free to find whoever they can.
Day 4: The exceptionally curious/adventurous may encounter dead alternate universe characters (please coordinate this with the correct players, unless the character is meeting him-/herself).
Day 5: Most people will have run into dead alternate universe characters.
Initial groupings:
Group 1: Blaine Anderson, Alex Kralie, Sam Winchester, Souji Seta, Santana Lopez
Group 2: George Lass, Yousuke Hanamura, Philip, Dean Winchester, Natasha Romanova
Group 3: Jay, Clint Barton, Mamimi Samejima, Amaterasu, Karkat Vantas
Group 4: Thorfinn, Eleanor Lamb, Peacock, The Lorax, Dave Strider
Group 5: Kurt Hummel, Tony Stark, Shinjiro Aragaki, Sollux Captor, Buckingham
Group 6: John Watson, Brittany Pierce, Aikawa Yuu, James Potter, Nepeta Leijon
Group 7: Bela Talbot, Lithuania, Stan Marsh, Redglare, Tara Gregson
Group 8: The Once-ler, Mark Meltzer, Evelyn Carnahan, Kyle Broflovski, John Egbert
Group 9: Minato Arisato, Kazuki Hihara, Shannon Beiste, Jim Moriarty, Jade Harley
Group 10: Sherlock Holmes, Pinkie Pie, Athos, Loki
A few other important points:
1) There will be a log posted for days 1-2 of the event with a thread for each initial group.
2) The network will not function during this event. This means no text/video/audio messages. Only action.
3) Everyone will play dead alternate universe versions of their own characters. For the sake of everyone's sanity, you may want to indicate if a tag is the real character or an AU.
4) Characters can be behind the schedule described above (that is, for instance on day 4 a character can still be stuck in his/her initial memory if you want), but please do not get ahead of the schedule.
As always, there is a Q&A thread on this post for all of your Q&A'ing needs.

Yuu will probably avoid most people because he doesn't want his memories to affect anyone, but anyone is free to seek him out.
Souji's memories can get pretty bizarre, which'll be fun for everyone he runs into. As for his AU selves...I'm not sure. I'm open to suggestions.
Karkat will figure things out very quickly, since he's been in dream bubbles a number of times. There will be two AUs of Karkat: 1) a god tier Karkat who died when Bec Noir destroyed the session, and 2) Karkat's dream self who...also died when Bec Noir destroyed the session.

John is going to remember his house before he entered the medium-- so just a regular house, really. Specifically, his room is probably of interest to people. AU options include: Doomed John (from the doomed timeline where John was tricked by Terezi into being killed by Typheus) and Poppop Crocker (Alpha Session John).
George will remember Der Waffle Haus. AU options include: Mom George (George if she hadn't died from the toilet seat and instead followed the typical plan that her mom did-- husband, house, dog, 2.5 kids)
The Lorax will remember the Truffula Tree Valley. AU options include: Asshole Lorax (the Lorax who gave up on being polite and making good arguments and playing pranks and decided to just be a total SJ asshole to the point of the Once-ler just. Axeing him.).
Beiste will remember her apartment with Cooter. AU options include: Vengeful Beiste (the Beiste who fought back against Cooter and lost).
Tara will remember the bowling alley she and her family frequently visited. AU options include: Child Tara (Tara if she had died at the hands of her childhood abuser).
I'm open to suggestions on AU's and places if people have ideas and I WANT TO PLAN WITH YOU GUYS PLEASE POKE ME. <333333333
ETA: Oh, I guess Asshole Lorax was enough of an asshole that the Once-ler just. Killed him. Yeah, sure. :3 I...originally said Beiste won but. But um. She has to die so. yeah it's editeldkjafoieuaweotiua

Also man I want to play with Beiste too I WANT TO PLAY WITH EVERYONE FOREVER.

The main settings of his memory would be a lecture hall at his university and his own flat in London. We'll try to keep the more disturbing places out.
His AU versions will be
a.) Professor LaFresque aka. Philip who decided to burn his father's documents as instructed and consequently never went to Greenland. He died in a boring, old car crash.
b.) Prince Philip (

As far as AU versions go there is
a.) George Villiers aka. the Buckingham who never left England and never became a courtier. He has to make do without sparkly riches and tends to the family estate with his brothers instead. Since King James never touched him he tragically died of the King's Evil.
b.) Buckingham aka. the Buckingham who was betrayed by the lady who was supposed to betray the musketeers, but instead instantly turned on him, causing him to be imprisoned and later hanged in France.

But on the upside I'm going back to four days a week in October YAYAYAY.Kurt: He's in Group Five, and I'm still deciding between a couple different things for his memory, but it will probably be in McKinley High School somewhere, most likely either the auditorium, the choir room, or the boy's locker room
I'm a bad person. He'll probably catch on pretty quickly and go looking for others. I'm also still trying to decide what I want for an AU version of him. Maybe a Kurt who's mother didn't die, or a Kurt who gets all the solos in Glee club, idk but they die somehow I'M WORKING ON IT.James: He's in Group Six and will be at Hogwarts. Well, near Hogwarts. He'll be in Hogsmeade sneaking around through passages and having fun in all the shops with his friends just like any other lazy weekend at Hogwarts. He's bright though and he'll notice that something's off, and go explore these Dream Bubble things. He'd be insanely curious about them and how the memories connect and so on. He's going to have several AUs of himself where tried to save Lily and Harry, but they all go wrong somehow, in someway. I enjoy stepping on hearts, yes I do.
The Once-ler: He's in Group 8 and his memory is of the Truffula Valley. Anyone who comes to find him will find lots of Truffula Trees and Bar-ba-loots, and Swomee Swans and Humming fish, and it will just be a forest paradise. He's more likely to be fooled that his memory's real at first, but he'll easily be jarred out of it once he remembers that oh yeah his company and Wonderland and stuff. THAT'S CUTE KRISTEN, HOW YOU SUGGEST A ONCE-LER WHO WOULDN'T RUIN THINGS no it's not going to be that at all. Lorax fandom is the king of five milllion AUs of the same character, so there might be more than one, depending on exaclty how busy I get. But he will run into at least one that tries to get him to listen to the Lorax, and TRIES to warn him about how bad things can be. ...Lolol we'll see how that goes. :D;;

Evelyn's memory will take place at St. George's School for Girls in Ascot, Berkshire.
Her Alternate Universe dead-selves will consist of:
1) the stuffy librarian who never went on any adventures but was very clumsy and was crushed to death beneath a falling shelf of really heavy books.
2) the girl who wasn't saved by the Big Damn Hero in time and ended up getting stabbed in the chest by an enthusiastic mummy-come-back-to-life in a ritual.

THAT BASTARD OF A DUKEthe English. He replays this in his mind enough already, though, so he'll hop out of there lickety-split.You'll find him in Venice, Italy, dealing with some shit.
His Alternate Universe dead-selves will consist of:
1) Athos who was not drugged so much as he was poisoned one year ago, suffered massive internal hemorrhaging as it ate through his body, and died choking on his own vomit. c:
2) Athos who lived a long and happy life with a loving wife and no political turmoil to speak of, retired from the musketeers to live on his estate in the north of France, and died of old age.

Feel free to hang out here or ask him about it. It's nice there! I promise! (As opposed to a million other memories that'd be worse to share.)
No AU ideas so far. He might not have any that he'll run into. XD (And fff since I'm going to be slow this weekend, I might not do it so I don't slow anyone down even more.)

Death AU: Yousuke has died once here, from being shot in the head, so you might run into him with half his face blown off. Delicious!
Another, more theoretical time, I'm making up is that after wrongly accusing Namatame of the Inaba murders and throwing him in TV world himself, the fog comes and the shadows leak into the real world, killing him and the rest of the IT. Proper warning: approach him at your own risk, he's going to be seriously messed up!
In group 9 Kazuki has a memory of the roof of his school at sunset. In the distance, the melody of Ave Maria being played on a violin can be heard.
I can't really think of any reason for him to be dead, so I won't force it in that area, lol.

Ahem.
Dave is in GROUP 4, and it's just gonna be various meteor rocketing through paradox space memories. Like suplexing Karkat. :3 Potential AU's of him include various doomed timelines of himself and Alpha!Dave (
Amaterasu is in GROUP 3 (lulz lulz lulz), and she's going to bring in...uhhhhhh...random shit from Nippon, idk just yet. Maybe stuff to do with Rao because DAAAAAYUM THOSE MELONS Possible AU's include not going to the Celestial Plain, but still defeating Yami and dies by doing something heroic, and being defeated by Yami.
Nepeta is in GROUP 6 FUCK YEAH!!!!!! She'll be bringing in LOLCAT, her planet. :3 Possible AU's of her include God Tier, surviving Gamzee's rampage only to die by something unexpected, and managing to avenge her moirail's death only to die due to bloodloss or something. \o/;;;;
I'm open to anything. :3

The first one will be a more clean-cut, friendlier version of himself, all fancy in his school uniform and everything
but always with the sacred beanie. In this form, he didn't kill Ken's mother and ended up staying with SEES.The second one will be just like his current self, but he dies after the encounter with Ken and Takaya on October 4th. This kid is even less sociable.
The third one is from a world where Shinjiro doesn't ask to join SEES with Akihiko. So he doesn't even know that he can summon a persona; he just knows it gets weird looking at night if he stays up past midnight. Nice like the first one, but untrusting; since SEES operates outside of his involvement, he has a constant feeling of suspicion which will include wondering where the other people in the group came from.
Loki - Group 10
Backtagging will be a thing, I'm gone this weekend.

Dead AU versions may include but are not limited to: Clint who never left the circus and died in a stupid reckless accident, Clint who died in Budapest protecting Natasha, Clint who got killed by Loki because Loki decided he didn't have quite enough heart, and Clint who was killed by Natasha because she couldn't shake Loki's control over him.
Enjoy.
Jim Moriarty: Group 9 brings the memory of a swimming pool, swarming with (faceless) children who will probably pick on everyone and try to push them into the pool.
Dead AU versions may include little James who got drowned by his classmates, Jim who wound up getting into drugs and died of an overdose at a young age, and Professor James Moriarty who grew old and even creepier but never actively got involved in crime, and eventually just died of old age.

Alternate versions could include the other endings (This Eleanor's from the best one). Bad ending Eleanor and mopey normal Eleanor, to contrast with cheerfulish hero-worshiping Eleanor.
The first thing that comes to mind is letting the Lorax see how humans live in the absence of any real nature apart from the fish floating around outside. MAN I REALLY NEED TO GET HER OUT MORE.
7
AU options include: if the Teutonic Knights had been successful to a much higher degree than they ever intended in the normal world and basically succeeded in a genocide (partly through assimilation and partly through murder)
Group 10
Anyway, Quirrel will remember the whole showdown before the Mirror of Erised.
AU options:
If he had succeeded in getting the Sorcerer's Stone when it had been in Gringotts and got Voldemort his body. Another option is if he had never found Voldemort and continued to travel the world.
Re: Group 10
The Successful stone-stealer would have died by Voldemort Avada-Kedav'ering the shit outta him. He just kills off his more powerful followers doesn't he? He wouldn't want to share anything, so... Yeah.
Second dead Quirrel will be just dying because of Vampires. He had a run-in with those.
Group 6
The dead AU options will be:
1) If John, not Sherlock, went to the roof to confront Moriarty. Died by jumping off the roof.
2) If John met Moriarty before/instead of Sherlock. Died by being killed on a mission or something]
3) If John never met Sherlock at all, and died by eventually eating a bullet.
