+ In the dungeons and within the white room (Saving Alice Part 2) +
Having fun so far guys? As promised, here is the next part of the event!
Looking for Alice?
A good guess would probably be the dungeons. They are beneath the mansion on the mirrored side (comparable to where the tunnels are on real side). They are very mazed, twisting and turning every which way. They are lit merely by the light of lanterns, and all of the cells seem to be empty as the characters move further and further down. If they peek inside the cells, they will be dirty and abandoned. There are old blood stains on the walls, and some of the older cells have bones inside them. It seems there hasn't been need for the cells in some time, but given how they are kept, perhaps no one has been foolish enough to warrant a stay in the cells.
No one, except for Alice, of course. However, she does not seem to be there. If you look hard enough, you might find her cell, deep in the dungeons. You will know it belongs to her, due to the white scratchings on the wall, all of them of cats, and the letters D I N A H. There are some sharp rocks on the ground that she may have used to accomplish this, and there is also a lone, tattered, blue ribbon.
It seems that the dungeons are a dead end, in the search for Alice! You'll have to work your way back up to the mirror mansion, and by then, I'm sure there will be plenty of mirrors who will try and make sure you don't.
Or maybe you're looking for the Queen?
Or just...aren't in the dungeons. Around the mirror mansion, there still seems to be no sign of the Queen or Alice, but as you go looking, you may stumble upon something other than mirrors trying their damnedest to keep you busy.
While looking, you may encounter a very...special room. It will occur in random locations, as the rabbit hole does. When the door to this room is opened, they'll find it is filled completely with a white light. Their minds will blank completely for a moment and when they snap out of it, the door will be shut. Should they open it again, they will find an ordinary room.
What is the point of this? That white room just blatantly stole one of your memories. ♥
However, instead of a single word, that white room will be taking individual memories from characters. That means any character who encounters the white room will lose a memory of some moment in their life prior to arriving in the mansion. Perhaps it's your fifth birthday, or your last day of high school, or that thing someone important said to you. It must be a moment in the character's life (AKA - no forgetting entire characters or anything like that).
. We would never force you into memory-loss. This is simply another thing going on on mirror side. :)
And everyone else?
Mirror forces are still going strong on real side! But wait, you want your character to find the white room? Or maybe they're just a little curious? They can still make it to mirror side! This is just a reminder that the signs are still visible to anyone who hasn't followed them before, and that switches can still happen. Real things only get one shot to go to mirror side willingly though, but mirrors can change sides whenever they want.
And that is that for this part! Look forward to the next piece on Friday!
