002: [Text + Private to Martha]

Who ever left that glass of water in my room and closed the door behind them, you have my gratitude.

[One of you had to have done it, or maybe he's forgotten that he managed to get up and fetch a glass from the closet and fill it at the sink before going back to bed at one point since the 4th June. It's all a bit of a mess in his head still.

He pauses before pressing to send the next part. It looks as pathetic as it sounds but, he needs to know.]

Think I lost a few days here.

If I find any samples kept for any reason, I will personally come to find them. I have a very definite way to tell, as I'm sure you figured out.

[So much stronger, so much more powerful. So much more able to do whatever he likes here, whether that be eventual domination or going back home.

What Vincent say is very true and he knows it. But last week, he had to try.]

Mm. [ And there isn't anything more to say on that subject, but Vincent is still curious about Sephiroth's actual state of being. He was in a pretty bad way a few days ago and not much better when Vincent had checked in later. ]

... How are you feeling now?

[He never talks feelings. They are his to deal with.

Though, for whatever reason Vincent hadn't left him to possibly convulse to his death on the floor. That merits some sort of response.]

Nothing unexpected. I'll be fine.

[Pause. There was almost a 'thank you' in his throat before he swallows it back down with another sip of water.]

[ He's not looking for thanks. If anything, he'd be a little weirded out by it. It's just... being responsible. That's all. ]

[Give it a few more hours he'll probably force himself up, get a shower. He's hungry and who's to blame him, he needs someway to get energy back.]

... I will see you another time, then.... take better care of yourself, Sephiroth.

[ It feels a little odd to make that admonishment, but... well, he makes it anyway.

Vincent will probably stop by Sephiroth's room at some point - not to stay or chat but simply to make sure Sephiroth is actually upright and not having a seizure again. Otherwise, he is content to leave to man to his own devices - at least for the time being. ]
