[The video turns on and Elizabeth is there looking pleased.]
Just a couple of things.
Mr. Gabriel? I’m sorry, but if you can hear this, please respond. I have some business with you, if it’s not too much trouble.
And Monsieur Aramis? I made that dish you requested! I hope you and the others are hungry! I think it came out pretty good!

What's up, doc?
Hello, um, are you Gabriel? Balthazar's brother?
[He doesn't grimace, but that's only through practice. Balthazar being gone is still, after all this time, fresh in his mind. Then again, time works differently for angels and immortals.]
[She's not familiar with the expression, but she's glad she's found the right person.]
A couple of months before his departure, Mr. Balthazar requested a painting from me. Unfortunately, I finished it just after he left.
Mr. Winchester suggested I offer the painting to you. He said you might not care much for art, but it's yours if you want it.
Which Mr. Winchester are we talking about? The freakishly tall one with the flowing mane, or the shorter one who prefers scowling?
[He shrugs lightly.]
If you don't want to keep it, I've got room on my wall. What's it of, Ms. Monet?
[Isn't that thoughtful?]
And my name is Elizabeth. The painting is of the ocean. Balthazar said he liked stormy oceans.
[She leans down to lift the painting into view.]
I understand if it's not your style, but if you wish to have it, then it's yours.
Yeah, sure. It's nice. How long've you been painting, anyway?
[She has a real knack for it, not that he knows too much about art... But if Balthazar comes back, Gabriel can give it to him. That's an optimistic thought he doesn't want to say out loud, though.]
[She had more time on her hands than a person could want, so it really allowed her to refine certain skills.]
I'll bring it to your room. Where is it?
[Watch him be a lazy jerk.]
Sure you don't want anything in return?
[video]/action?
[She turns off the video and works on carrying the painting. It's not too large, but it is a bit bulky. Once she gets to the mentioned room, she knocks on the door, though she can barely manage to see around the frame.]
[action]
[Don't worry, Elizabeth, the angel's got this from here. One snap of his fingers and the painting's out of her hands and hanging on the wall behind him.]
[action]
[She's surprised when the painting vanishes, but she's pleased to see it hanging on the wall.]
That's a great spot for it.
[action]
[He could make it happy, but then it would be some sort of freakish painting with emotions. Ruined forever. Or until another snap of his fingers.]
...Balthazar said he had a gallery back home, but I guess you already knew that.
Re: [action]
[So Elizabeth was helping out with a painting.]
[action]
Yeah, well. It'll be here.
[If he comes back.]
You should keep painting, though. You've got a knack.
Re: [action]
[Sheepishly she brushes a few strands of hair from her eyes.]
If there's anything else you'd like painted, I wouldn't mind.
[action]
[He waggles a brow, just in case it wasn't apparent from tone that Gabriel's joking. He can't sit still that long. Though he could make a construct of himself to do the job, but even the construct would probably get bored.]
I'm fine, really. Maybe someone else'll start a gallery. Or you could.
Re: [action]
Maybe. I'd like to think your brother will return and continue working on it.
[action]
[Gabriel wants to think that, too, but he also doesn't want to be disappointed. He's strangely sure that he'll be disappointed, what with the way this place has been lately.]
We'll see.
[action]
I hope you enjoy the painting.
[She pauses.]
If you ever want to talk to someone, I wouldn't mind.
[action]
[He grins.]
Re: [action]
Like I said, I wouldn't mind.
[And she goes out.]
