Finn? Where-

[ There's a pause, and Quinn looks around her. This wasn't Finn's house, or really any house. She was in a kitchen but outside of that was a long corridor, and a feeling of being lost ]

This has got to be the worst day of my life.

[ Oh, hey Wonderland, were you low on your daily dose of teenage drama? This one comes with the signs of already shed tears and the threat of more to come ]

First I- I've lost everything. And now- Now I'm here? This can't be happening. It can't, I- [ And there's another tear, and another two. A sniff to go with it, and then a quieter voice when Quinn speaks again ] Where am I? How did I get here?

[ There's one more pause, and a heavy swallow ]

What's going to happen to me?

[ That was all for now, at least over the device. If you're nearby? You might get more than you'd bargained for if you say hi ]

[Santana's totally minding her own business, just sitting around, leafing through a magazine. When she hears it.

Finn?

She pauses. When the sound continues--holy shit, she'd know that husky voice anywhere--she lunges for her device. She's barely paying attention to what Quinn's actually saying before she replies. Loudly.]

Quinn?

[ Quinn couldn't believe it. Never mind her actually being here, or this device actually working and being like a phone it had found someone. Someone had replied. And that someone sounded an awful lot like Santana ]

Santana?

[ She couldn't believe it -- any of it. But that one word, the surprise the-- the Santana of it. She'd known her long enough ]

Where are you?

[ She needed her friend, even if things weren't 100% the same ]

[Oh god, Quinn looks younger. Of course. Why is Santana from after everyone else?!

Anyway.]

Nuh-uh, where are you? I've been here forever, I can find you.

[She's even getting up to do so right now.]

Forever as in five minutes more than me?

[ Because that was the only thing in this whole bunch of weirdness that might make sense ]

I'm in the kitchen.

[ She's hoping there won't be a fat joke coming ]

[...Yeah, it'll be easier to talk about that in person.]

Got it. I'll be right there.

[She rushes, not as fast as she did for Brittany, but definitely faster than she would for some stranger. It's a few minutes before she shows up, but there she is! Yay!]

Kay, so the first th--oh my god you're pregnant!

[Because while it's not huge, Quinn's definitely got a bump. Plus she's got the longer hair and the overall aura of I'm prim and perfect she used to have before everything went to Hell.]

Thanks, because I don't already have a constant reminder of it.

[ She should detect the surprise in that really, she would on a day where she hadn't just had her life turned upside down. Again. And missing the point or not Quinn certainly didn't feel like going through it all. Again. Jokes, real surprise or... anything.

But it was nice not to be alone, whatever that and this place meant. Whatever the first thing that Santana was going to tell her was ]

[ Because it had to come from everyone in the end, right? Even a best friend? ]

[Sorry, was she supposed to explain something?]

Holy--is it still sophomore year for you?!

[Implied: or did you get knocked up again and I missed it?]

What else is it going to be?

[ This is just getting even more confusing. And slightly irritating. Sure would love that explanation. Or a hug. There have been tears ]

Right. Right, damn, you're. Okay.

[She's pretty sure no one here has ever been pregnant. You can't even get pregnant here; which Santana was incredibly pleased to learn back when she was less totally 100% gay.]

This is Wonderland. It's as stupid as it sounds, trust me, but you're kinda stuck here now. And time is really weird here, so like. I already graduated. Brittany's here, but from junior year.

And you... [She's actually a little speechless, and gestures at Quinn's belly.]

[ That explanation is something that Quinn immediately shakes her head at ]

Wonderland is just a children's book.

[ Although she's probably more likely to believe it than some would. Not wanting to, and not liking it but just... accepting it. Even if it can't be Wonderland. The rest of her life is crazy right now, why can't this be? But it's mostly because it's Santana. Santana's the one telling her this, explaining it all. And is apparently from the future with Brittany. Her best friends are here and apparently know what's going to happen ]

How can we all be here and not from the same moment?

[ Although she doesn't really know why she's asking -- she wouldn't understand even if Santana could answer ]

No one really knows. I've been here like three years now.

[Santana can just...not stop staring at that bump. What can even happen with that thing?!]

[Oh no crying girl about her age :(] Oh...please don't cry. No one's going to hurt you.

[Oh god why are you crying please stop. :(]

Things will be okay. It's safe. [For now.]

Oh, wow, uhm...

[Nothing like someone crying to make you feel uncomfortable but also like you need to help.]

Hey, it's okay! You're okay here! [...Er, for now. But he keeps his tone light and careful, an effort at comfort.] You'll be completely fine. Everyone here is friendly, for the most part.

You graduated three years ago?

[ Because then... wow. What has she been doing sine? And what has happened since Sophomore year? ]

What's going to happen here? [ A small pause ] To me?

Why not? They've already kidnapped me.

[ Or she had. Was she supposed to be the comforting voice before everything happened? Or had she been kidnapped too? ]

[ But what if she just carried on. She's trying to stop crying, anyway ]

How is it? [ But really, how is it? ] I don't know what's going on.

[ Quinn tries to sound as questioning, as harsh as she can make her words sound but beneath the tears it's difficult and doesn't have the desired effect ]

[ This- Santana had mentioned that she was here but actually hearing Brittany was something else. It was more real, and she was equally as relieved as she was conflicted ]

I'm in a room. It had my name on it.

[ They'd found that after leaving the kitchen ]

We've been kidnapped, yes, but...I don't think there is really a "they." It's more like magic.

That's probably 'cause it's your room. Mine has my name on it too.

What floor?

It's confusing at first. And it never really makes total sense. But it's not a bad place to be. [Usually.]

[Santana scowls. Damn, Quinn, does she look 21 already? ~~lol it's funny because cast members~~]

No. The last thing I remember from home is graduation. We were all at the train station, watching Rachel Berry leave for New York.

[Hope you like that little future-tidbit.

She sighs.]

What's going to happen is that you're going to find a room to live in, you're going to get a lot of maternity clothes from the magic closets that hopefully aren't super ugly, and you're going to be fine.

[...She can't answer about the whole baby in the belly thing what the hell]

I don't think that I get it.

[ How had she been there for three years but had only just graduated... but was it supposed to make sense? She's also not thinking about Rachel Berry. She doesn't want to think about that. Of course Rachel would get out of Ohio, and she'd be stuck there ]

But-- okay. That part sounds pretty normal.

[ Except for the magic closet part. Non-sucky maternity clothes would be nice, though ]
